King of Crabs

I love this game, ive only had it for a couple of hours. There needs to be a tutorial though, as it just drops you in with no explication. Still, its not that complex and i got the hang of it after a few games. Basically what you do is kill other crabs to feed yourself to become bigger and stronger. After a while your health starts to decrease by itself, so you need to eat constantly. You have a blue meter underneath your health bar. You tap the screen two times then press against the screen to dash. There is a mini map in the corner of the screen which shows you where other crabs are. An X represents a player and a crab icon represents an NPC that you can still kill to eat. You can pick up weapons and shields which help you attack more easily. There are also weapon or coin crates that spawn in predetermined locations across the map that you need to attack to open. You can see these crates on the mini map (which you can tap to make the map larger)

I have had this game for a very long time. I have spent money on this game. I have every single crab and they are all ranked up high, one being at level 50. I have maxed out my skill points besides the ones that are available on the ranking system. I have hats on all of my crabs. I have approximately 10,000 coins right now because I’m only getting extra lives every time I spend 500 on the crab grab. I am at a point now where I’m getting very bored and aggravated at this game. This is a perfect example of why: I played and got my all time high score which was 2,991, 775 points and also collected over 10k coins in that one game. Yet on the “ranking points” system, my score only went up 300 points??? How is that even possible? I have scored 93,000 points and it went up 250 points, yet when I score almost 3 million points, I only move up 300 ranking points? That makes absolutely no sense to me. I have spent numerous hours playing this game and have told numerous people about it. But this is ridiculous and there is no possible way to move up with a system like this. I also never get feedback when I post so I doubt I will this time either.

I absolutely LOVE this game. This is the best interactive game that is available for your mobile device. Who knew fighting other crabs would be such FUN!!! I find myself playing this game in my spare time all the time. Once you starting playing and gaining other better crabs you don’t want to stop. I started as a little brown crab, but now I have worked my way up to be a huge mud crab. I can’t wait till I’m an even bigger crab!!!! However, I agree with the other comments about my internet connection constantly freezing up during the game. So it would make me start over or I would have to quit & start over.

This is a great idea, a really fun game. However, a few issues. Control and Overlay: The latest update with the huge control buttons needs to go away. There is way too much screen real estate to the turbo and buddy buttons. Please either disable or give option to remove. Perhaps only make it visible when the large map is on? New content: The crabs are aging. I’ve been playing for a few months and I have nothing to look forward to - I’ve maxed out the rank, and have nothing left. Add more crabs and perhaps some bonus content for long time players so stars don’t matter. Fairness: the new players coming in have no safe place to play, since the simple mode is gone. You won’t retain new players if they get dumped into battle mode with new crabs and others, like me, have maxed out coconut crabs, that are able to wipe them out in two hits. I do love the new size of the X to indicate crab size, so it helps me only target larger crabs. However, since the rate of health loss is so fast when you’re big, sometimes I have to kill whatever is around to eat.

King of Crabs isn’t your every day multiplayer game because it focuses on crabs. You’d think it mediocre from that, but it’s actually even better. Yes you fight people and stuff, but you can make your Crab better the more you play. If you play more, you get more coins, and more coins means more prize grabs. It’s not all that unfair either, because there aren’t too many people per server. This allows for new people to catch up to the better people. Also, you can put hats and skins on your Crab, adding to the charm. Overall, fantastic game.
