KFC - Order On The Go

Firstly a personal shout out for the best customer service to "Courtney" at Tuggeranong KFC. She was absolutely flipping amazing making this app worthwhile with the nugget box. To throw in the mix the girl was being accessed on a store manager position and she handled it like a pro. If your wondering 🤔 no she did not give me free food. Oh and no I do not personally know this young lady. This app is like a hidden little treasure. I am so glad KFC have finally come back at Maccas. I look forward to alerts from the KFC app because it means the family and I can have quality take out with great service and at a reasonable price. I have never had problems with the app and I love pulling into drive through quoting my order number and driving straight up to the collect window. Well done KFC and thank you for making our lives that little bit more convenient. Happy New Years Everyone 🙂

After using the Macca's app I am so grateful for this one. And I appreciate y'all responding to my previous review. I would love it if you added the wicked wings dinner pack as an app option - my fav and in my opinion one of the better quality options. I kind of hate how when you pick a store to go to you get a zoomed in map. Once you put your default/favorite sites in, you should lock it in state/region so it's not hard to find other close stores (with an option to manually switch of course). Things you do well: able to pay at the counter (drive through option), customisable meals, special offers, speedy meals. Things I would like: the wicked wings dinner pack, able to add my receipt thing so I don't have to change it at the counter, maybe a comment box just so I can ask for things beforehand), maybe a PayPal option? Edit: seriously a comment box. I feel sorry for the poor girl that add to in my request

This is a great app although I won’t be using it again. Unfortunately our local KFC are useless and mustn’t get how it’s meant to work. The one time I used the app it was great, fast and easy too use. It was a waste of time as I ordered before I left home, which is a 5 minute drive from the Treendale store in WA, it said order was placed and was being prepared yet the store didn’t even look at our order until we went in to pick it up. I thought the point was to be a time saver so not sure if this is how it’s meant to work or if this is just another let down from our local store. Either way I won’t be using the app again and I won’t be going to KFC again either.

Had my first online order, paid then head to restaurant to pick-up. After pressing I’m in the restaurant, an error showed up and told me to go in the restaurant and talk to their staff. I got charged but my order was not sent though. I explained the situation, showed my order history and showed my bank getting charged for the order and waited longer than I expected. 3-4 orders, which I believed came after my order number, was prepared and gave to customers until they sort out my order. One staff was trying to check what happened in my app and almost placed a new order for something I already paid. Staff is being apologetic for the delay which I appreciate, but being asked If I paid for something I ordered “online” and paid with my credit card is a bit awkward. Please make sure this won’t happen again otherwise I will ask for refund and keep the item, that’s how fastfood restaurant work. Regards

What’s the point in having an app where you can pre order your meal and “jump the queue” (as all the banners around suggest) if they don’t start packing your order until you arrive? I thought it strange when I ordered and paid online and then it said to “arrive by 7pm” (this was about 5 o’clock) and click to “check in” when I get to the store to let them know I there. I work in the building above the shopping centre the store is located so thought to preempt this I would check in as I am leaving by the time I get downstairs it would be ready, but no the staff still didn’t start my order until they saw me arrive and waiting there. I may as well have just ordered at the counter instead of faffing about registering and paying with my credit card. App also kept prompting me to rate it within minutes of registering and has sent me dozens of notifications I had to turn them off. Here’s a rating for you - I think I’ll be deleting this one and going back to old school ordering. Ta!
