I am enjoying this game. I haven’t gotten too far into it, which is why I hesitate to write this review but I do like what I have experienced so far. I usually do very well with these type of games and usually they are very easy to play. I have found that these levels are are a bit challenging right from the beginning, which is good for me. Instead of mindless drifting from level to level, I need to strategize in order to get rid of all the sand or whatever the level needs me to do. I am looking forward to where this game leads.
I started playing this game and was finally enjoying a match game. It asked me to review it quickly but I waited because other games would do the same and then get impossible hard. I had hoped that this game wouldn’t, but I was wrong. Now the game makes it almost impossible to win..constantly “hinting “ that I need to use the special helpers..that cost $$. I understand that but some people can’t afford to buy their way through games. Also, (and THIS is what’s really troublesome) if “I” can see when a game is (do I say RIGGED?) set up to keep you from winning then you’ve ruined what could have been fantastic! I was ready to give this game 5 stars because I was loving it. I don’t want to play anymore. I would have thought that the game makers would have wanted glowing reviews..guess not.
You will win one of the match games maybe 1 time out of 20 and usually then only if you spend money buying the crystals. Even when you get all the components of a collection, you can’t put it together until you get so many tools, pots, etc. and in order to get them, you have to buy them! A fun game but by far the most expensive game I have ever played! Definitely not worth it! I had 300 points, played the Farm and the Woodworking Shop. Was able to advance ONE time! I spent no money so I won no advancement! Almost every game was lost by ONE POINT, you all are a bunch of money hungry thieves! Every game is set up to be lost unless you buy something. Even if you find every object in a collection, you still have to buy the stupid crystals! Very, very user unfriendly!
This is the 1st game that I’ve played that’s only about gem matching. I admit it’s tough at times but I’m enjoying the challenge, with the options of having a variety of tools to help when I just feel stuck and don’t want to keep trying. My biggest complaint is having the experience progress bar portray my status as a percentage. I’ve wasted several high-value energy items because I couldn’t tell how close I was to reaching the next level, where my energy would fully recharge. Some players may be fine with a percentage but I want at least the option of seeing the progress as a point value, like other G5 games. My second biggest complaint is not being able to see what my max level value is. The only way I know is when I do a full recharge. And I can’t figure out when the Barrel tool would be used. A tutorial or FAQ on a website or social media would be nice.
I like this game a lot but there are often problems getting rubies and special offers that are paid for but never show up in game. Plus this is a VERY EXPENSIVE game to play. Without the boosters it is almost impossible to move on, thus the need to buy rubies. IF I could use the huge amount of gold coins for boosters or other needed items to complete collections, it would not be so bad. As it is I will soon be deleting it because I cannot afford to continue buying rubies🥵
