iDig / Image Browser

Love this app, works perfectly for what I need. I really like how it creates folders for each download. There are a couple issues I have with the app though that are preventing me from giving it 5 stars. Firstly, the photo select checkmark button is a bit too small and I often have to press it many times to get it to select. Also, I think it would be better to also allow checkmarking photos while in the preview mode. Secondly, I don’t like how it automatically removes the metadata from photos—when I download a photo with metadata from safari into my photo album, it shows the original date it was taken. However, if I download the same photo through this app and then save it to my photo album, then the original date is lost. Here are some features that I would like to see implemented in the future: - ability to checkmark a photo while in preview mode - option to adjust the checkmark size - ability to mass select multiple photos (similar to the way it’s done in iPhone photos by dragging) - an option to keep a photo’s metadata - ability to create folders Nonetheless it’s still a great app—thank you!

I love the image grouping and folders! I do find that if I’m downloading a lot of images the success prompt getting irritating though!

Doesn’t work for saving photos from Instagram, but would still be useful for other sites. The Developer took the time to respond to my original review, to let me know that Apple actually forbids developers from creating a feature that would allow users to download Instagram images through Safari.

Images on Facebook are ignored. I realize the images URLs there may be deconstructed in JavaScript, but please find a way to reconstruct them.
