Hours & Minutes Calculator

I do not generally leave reviews for apps but I really wanted to put in a good word for this app. I am a manager/engineer for a large craft brewery. I literally use this app every single day. The amount of time that it saves is amazing. No more breaking out a calculator to add groups of down time. Thank you so much for making this app!

I first tried the free version for calculating the difference between two times for which the app was excellent in its simplicity. Next I wanted to calculate the percentage of an interval to a total. I saw that you could perform multiplication and division with the paid version so bought it only to discover that you can NOT divide one time by another, only a time by an integer. I hope this functionality will be added in a future version. I will give it five stars then!

Working in a TV station, I have various shows shot other places I have to edit up. This lets me check the time of each shot, to be sure it fits our alloted time space, before getting too brried in an edit. Simple, does what it says it does, not overly complicated. Perfect solution for only a buck.

This app adds MINUTES and SECONDS — period. It won’t add times of day (e.g. 6:15 pm + 3 hrs). If you’re going to add times longer than an hour you’ll have to figure out for yourself how many minutes that is first in order to enter your data. The app will never return a result in days or hours (so it will say 1440:00 not 1 day or 24:00:00). You can divide a time by a whole number (e.g 15) but not 15.5 or 15:30. Not a very ambitious effort by the app developer.

Am a transcriptionist who gets paid by line. Sometimes I like to to keep track of how much dictation time I am doing to see progress. I make a note of length of each dictation. Had been using calculator to add minutes, divide by sixty, then add up seconds, divide by sixty....this makes it so fast! Thank you!
