User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
So I’ve heard a lot about honey, lots of you-tubers are sponsoring it, And I thought I’d give it a try to see if it was something worth having to help make purchases on stuff I like. I kinda expected it to pick out a bunch of discounts from stores on the internet for specific stuff (a lot of the time Price reductions are because It’s not selling well) But I was sure I could find a good deal on something I wanted somewhere. I loaded it up and looked around a bit for stuff with price reductions and I couldn’t really find anything, it mostly just looks like a typical online store, it does give out coupons but It’s on everything sold by a store that they have available. So it seems more like an incentive/encouragement to make purchases rather than finding items that have good price reductions. I searched for stuff I was into and the search function is kind of inaccurate it seems cause If you dig deeper you can find other stuff that doesn’t show up, some of the listings did have price reductions, but a lot of it was stuff selling for normal price. That’s just my opinion, It’s not particularly bad but It’s not all I heard it to be. I used the mobile app like everyone writing reviews for this, and I’m pretty sure It was mostly made as a browser extension for laptops/desktops and they’re just now branching into mobile phones but overall It’s not that amazing.
Iv had this app for a while and haven’t tried it yet.. but I have learned a few things by being an avid online shopper. First off people leave reviews out of hostility & feelings, when they should be experienced & Facts. Secondly, you can tell a lot about a company and how they represent customer service by their responses to other reviews; for instance, before using the app today I have sat and read almost 30 reviews with almost 15/20 were responded to by honey. In their responses they admit to the fact they are Virtually just becoming a ‘mobile app’, and some things are still confusing, but they also state many people’s ‘Same whine’ about ‘No Discounts’ is actually because they are not doing it right.. it doesn’t just pick a discount and throw a million$ coupon at you but it does however at checkout before you spend your money, search for price reductions before you buy something they can find for relatively cheaper. Gang gang. Also, in returns if you have not received your refund and it is a different mystery card..?! It is only bc they do not put ‘Your Info’ into the world of web, but a virtual card in which will return your money, maybe few days longer but it will come and Safely at Best. So do some research, ask questions and learn before you judge something you Do Not Know. Bc knowledge is power people & our feelings are just that; our feelings. Keep em in check when doing business things go a lot smoother God bless!!
The search function is not accurate. I typed North Face Women’s Jacket. Out of 50+ items located, less than half were even jackets let alone North Face women's jackets. I wAs really excited to find a deal on a North Face jacket for my daughter. Despite three attempts to purchase, the purchase never went through. I contacted customer support. It literally took over three days and four emails for them to tell me the order didn’t go through. Yup. Figured that out. They told me it was ok thought because I wasn’t charged. Good thing since the item never would have arrived. When I told them the customer service was less than helpful (never offered to complete the purchase for me using my account info or even asked what the item was), they told me as a courtesy they gave me $50 Honey cash. That I can’t use because the app I waited months to download is an “old version.” That I can’t access an update for. Don’t waste your time.
The concept of the app is great, but unfortunately, it is poorly executed. If you try to search any product in the search bar, it will give you almost anything but that item. If you search a specific item, it will just give you results with other items that are somewhat similar. It is so bizarre that I tested the search function by searching let’s say product “x,” (to avoid naming the actual product) and the results came up with 8 or 9 options for product “y,” which was somewhat similar to product “x.” I then when back to the search bar and entered product “y,” which resulted the most from the previous search of product “x.” After scrolling down the search results of “y,” I only found 1 product that matched the actual search of “y.” It literally makes no sense.
First time using honey! I booked Vegas hotel reservation online and after i booked my plane ticket on United Airline website. I had honey launched on both occasions on my browser “little coin was dancing and i was getting excited since it was my first time using it and saving money”. After booking both the plane and the hotel went to sleep. I woke up the next day realized i had 2 separate charges from “DB Bahn Internet” this is a German railway company never booked anything with this company!!! Called credit card company and cancelled my card right away and now i am not going to be able to use my credit card that i always use on this trip! I use my credit card day to day had no issue with credit card theft however this got me thinking i used this app just once!!! And i had this issue. Not sure if honey stored my credit card info or not but it would be nice to hear a response from honey about this. Thank you,
