Ham Radio Exam - Tech

My wife and I both passed the Tech exam by studying with this app for just a few hours. We realized we had forgotten to study for the test the next day, but we also had a full schedule for the day. No way could we have so conveniently fit in calling things out to each other and reviewing independently without this app. We would have certainly failed without it. Did have a bug where missed questions were not clickable in the app so you couldn’t read the whole question.

I'm studying for my exam and the practice tests in this app are the exact questions in the Ham Radio License Manual valid through 2018. Thank you for making it so much easier to study for the exam. I hope I pass. UPDATE: definitely 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s. deserves more. Couple of weeks before my targeted test date, I would take 3-5 practice exams per day. This app provides a realistic representation of the actual exam. It's a well structured study tool. Made taking the test fun and easy. Thank you! Will be back for the General.

I downloaded this today in preparation for taking my technician exam tonight, and wish I would have a month ago. It's so much faster to take an exam than the ARRL site, and it's a lot easier to see what you got wrong so you don't repeat your mistakes. I only used it 3-4 times, but it looks like there's even a way to see what sections you tend to do poorly on, which would be great for studying. I took my exam and got 34/35, so I'll see you once the FCC issues me a call sign!

Used the app to study for a total of about 3 hours over two nights and passed the test with a 33 out of 35. If you ignore the wrong answers and just focus on the correct answers highlighted in green on the app, the answers on the actual test will jump off the page at you. Keep in mind that this isn't a substitute for learning, this is a memorization aid and it's a wonderful tool for that.

The pop quiz format of this app seems bare-bones, but it’s an invaluable study aid for prepping for the exam. I especially found it useful to test myself on subsections, as that showed where I needed to study more or had not understood something. If you want explanations, this is not your app, this presents only the test questions. Yes, I passed, and you will too! Great resource. Thank you, N1ZTL!
