User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
This app is easy to use and you can do pretty much everything with it. The one and only issue I’ve had with it is when depositing checks. Sometimes you have to go through the whole procedure of taking pictures of the check several times before it gets accepted.
The basic functions of the app get you the info you need, but it’s overall somewhat poor quality in comparison to some of the larger banking apps I’ve used, like Capital One or PNC (which makes sense, it’s a much smaller company). I’ve attempted to mobile deposit a check before and it was a struggle, so I just take it to a branch instead now. There are a lot of functions that take you away from the app to a web browser, which isn’t super user friendly on a phone (after all, that’s why people prefer to use apps instead of browsers most of the time). I also have a credit card through GSCU, but you can’t even really see what you can get with your rewards points, and to redeem something you still have to call a branch. Perhaps it’s the millennial in me, but I don’t want to bother with all of that, when I can get better point values from another company, and just use their app to redeem them.
I’m glad the standard format didn’t change with the new update. The new colors and logo are very eye catching. I really hope you fix the bill pay section when you change that section to Green State. I still can’t believe it’s such a poor layout. I shouldn’t need to zoom in or scroll every time I want to set up a bill pay. This is 2019, get out of the digital stone age and into current smart phone technology.
The only improvement I can think of to make is to add a feature where you can see pending deposits. The previous credit union I used as my primary had a place you could see pending deposits (paychecks and whatnot). Other than that the app is great and easy to use.
Love how the loan payments are posted instantly. Very easy to navigate and move funds between accounts. Including moving funds from/to other financial institutions. I can’t say this about most “bank/credit unions. And I use a lot of them. Anxious for a location in Ames. Rena Hall
