GreenJinn Cashback App

I don’t normally leave reviews for apps, but this one is brilliant. You get a range of great offers for everyday and interesting items from three supermarkets, Waitrose Tesco and Sainsbury's (not quite sure why it’s just these three, but that’s fine with me). This includes own brand products as well as big household name brands. These offers can often result in really worth while savings, and I’ve noticed I can often get cashback on some items which happen to already be on offer in the shop, meaning you end up paying a brilliant price for things. It’s so easy to navigate and simply take clear pictures of the receipts and that’s it. Receipts don’t get declined, and if you do have any problems, a quick email to the GreenJinn support team and the issue will be quickly rectified by the friendly people there! I just open the app up before going into any of the above shops and if I do end up buying something on the app, just keep the receipt neatly folded and you won’t have any issues. Great app, but I guess to make it 6/5 stars it would just need Asda or Morrison’s on there too!

I have been using GreenJinn for over a year now and have had very little complaint with it. Regular relevant vouchers to claim cash back on everyday purchases I regularly claim back a few £ each week. Only currently has Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsburys and has been since I started, I do hope it will eventually get Asda, Morrison’s and Iceland added which might give even more options to get cashback on shopping. The downside is I find it does often fail to upload receipts and they get ‘stuck’ in the system meaning you either have to wait for it to be refused before you can re-upload your receipts, the problem is though that this can take longer than a week and that means that cash back opportunity has gone through no fault of your own. It would be helpful if you could remove a submitted receipt because of this so that you can re-upload again, would also help if you accidentally submit the wrong voucher for your receipt.

First of all imho after trying 4 other of this articulate style app ! this is by far and away the best. The customer service is nothing short of superb. You get paid almost immediately unlike other apps and you only need £1.50 in your account to claim. It also changes its offers at midnight on Sunday so you know when to look for new offers . Not everything is available of course if like me you live in a more rural area but I confident they are always working on improving there service. Sometimes I buy things I wouldn’t have bought so it gives me a chance to try something new at a reduced rate or a different brand of something I do buy at a reduced price. You’d be surprised how it adds up. ( I am comparing this particularly to supermarket cashback apps and NOT TopCashback and Quidco )

Green Jinn you give some fantastic cashback amounts on some great products. I would love to see this being offered for more stores other than sainsburys and Waitrose. We haven,t got a Waitrose here. Other than that you get five stars from me for the good customer service on the ball and quick to respond. Keep up the good work. Still fantastic and super quick when uploading a receipt it is accepted almost instantly. You are amazing. Cant wait for you to add more stores

Nice idea in principle, but it's rare to find any cashback deals that are actually worth claiming. They are mostly on expensive, premium brand products which I would not normally buy, and the cashback still doesn't make them good value. Even when I do find a deal on something I would buy, I tend to find the in-store price is high and the cashback just brings it down to an amount I would expect to pay for that item anyway. Yes, there are occasionally really good deals, but they're so rare it's not really worth bothering with this app. You’ll save more money by just avoiding premium brands and buying better value products.
