GradePoint - GPA Calculator

I love this app! Perfect for keeping track of my GPA and calculating the grade I would need on tests to achieve my goal scores. However, I suggest allowing users to input grade percentages for individual classes because each professor has their own set of grade percentages. For example, a 90 in one class might be an A- whereas it could be an A in other classes. This affects GPA and could make the app’s GPA inaccurate.

I love how he app looks and how simple the design is. I really like this app and I wish I could use it, but there is one problem that actually stops me from being able to do so. When inputting the score for a section, we’re supposed to enter a percentage rather than a fraction. This is inconvenient since the app doesn’t consider when different assignments are worth more points than others in one section. It assumes that all assignments in a section are worth the same number of points. EDIT: I used a bad example in the last review. This is a new example. One assignment might be worth 20 points and another assignment might be worth only 10 points. Let’s say you get 20/20 and 5/10, so you would have to enter 100% for one assignment and 50% on the other. Calculating the grade for the Homework section by points should be 25/30 (roughly 83%). The app would only find the average of the percentages of the assignments. So in this case, it would be 75% rather than 83%.

I love everything about this app. However, I do have some suggestions. 1) My university does use the +/- grading system but not every one of my classes uses it. It would be cool to be able to change the grading system for each individual class. 2) A nice possible feature would be being able to override a class grade. For example, say I get a D- in a class, but the professor curves the final grade to a D. It would be great to be able to keep all your original scores for the course, but simply permanently change the final grade for GPA calculation purposes. 3) Both of the above suggestions would make GPA calculation easier. Rather than having to manually change the grade each time you want to calculate your GPA (an A- to an A for classes that don’t use the +/- system or the D- to a D for a curve), it could all be set up accordingly. This app is the top amongst its kind. I have not found one better. That being said, there is still room for improvement.

This app is seriously the best among all of the other GPA calculator apps on the AppStore. The other ones are a bunch of posers, who do they think they are? Wearing thrasher when they don't even skate. Anyways great UI, accurate calculator, free to use with no ads engulfing the entire screen, and now you don't even have to wait for your professors to post your grades before you get depressed, 5/5

This app is incredibly useful, if your looking for an accurate calculation of your grades, this for you. Most apps don’t allow you to insert the specific details of your class but this app allows you to. I love it so much and I 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a GPA calculator, it does that too . 👍🏼
