Update - so it seems if you kept any downloads from when you updated to the newest version, the app wouldn't function correctly. I then decided to delete all my content and guess what? Now it will download new sermons. So if you had the same frustration I had, clear everything (which isn't ideal, so take note what sermons you want to redownload) and the app will work again! Previous review: I have relied on this app for several years now to enhance my understanding of the Word of God and have consumed hundreds of sermons with much joy. Unfortunately, since this last update, I have not been able to download any sermons, as they each read pending forever. If there is a trick to make this version work, please let me know - if not, I ask that you could release a fix soon, as I need my daily fix of God's Word being taught!

The app works better than the you tube app to be honest here. I can watch and listen to his sermons while I even close the app and it is very easily downloaded no buffering also very clear video and sound. You can do so much more on the app I haven't even utilized most of it. Honestly don't change a thing about it. If I could visit his church I would in a heart beat, perhaps one day. His sermons are very very bible based, honest, and just helps me really understand so much. My family And I don't go to church often but this is a way for us to hear and study the word. Thank you, grace to you and everyone who put so much work into spreading the word of the Lord on GTY. God bless.

I have eternally been transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit in no small part by the ministry of Grace to You and John. I listen to and study the Bible everyday with the use of this app. However I purchased a new XS Max yesterday and now the app will not load sermons and will not do anything but crash when I try to open it. I have attempted to erase the app and reload on my phone and it still will not work. It keeps crashing seconds after I open the app. Please fix this as soon as is possible. I have nothing but praise and thanksgiving for the work of this ministry and the blessings that it bri fa me everyday as I study the Word Of God verse by verse. Please please please fix.

I love this application sooooo very much! Yes, it can be altered a little here and there and I can see that it needs some improvement , but I STILL give it a 5-star!! I am truly, truly thankful for the expositional preaching by my favorite modern-day hero of the faith, Dr. John Macarthur ! I’m also so very thankful for his wife, his ministry, and for every person who made it possible for his teachings to reach someone like me who was once further from God that anyone I’ve ever met! Most importany, I am ever-so grateful for the work of God in the life of JMac, to empower him by the will of the Holy Spirit, to make his life so useful in growing towards our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! This app is a MUST have ! and the BEST part of it is that it is entirely FREE!!! May God bless you and cause you to hunger desperately for His Righteousness and thirst eagerly for His Truth! I am using an iPhone 8 Plus. Half of the time I want to hear a sermon, I open the app on the phone and listen to it, then close the app. However, when I want to do the same thing the next day, the app will not open. I have to delete it from my phone, turn my phone off, turn my phone back on again and reinstall the app. Since I listen to these sermons on a daily basis, having to go through these steps almost every time I want to listen to MacArthur is very frustrating! Any fix suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
