GoMechanic - Car Services App

I dont know from where should i start about the services provided by Go mechanic. At first i was also afraid to book a schedule service for my car as again i wasn’t sure what will gonna happen so booked and then guy Harshdeep took a follow up with me and the way he treated was really very amazing. I felt amazed when i recahed at nanuan and got an amazing hospitality there. During the car service they provided me complimentary lunch and Harshdeep has also provided a free car interior cleaning for virus which was cherry on a cake for me. All in one i will say that it was by far my best experience with servicing and getting my car feel young again. Kudos to Harshdeep, Team at Nanuan and team go mechanic for such an extraordinary experience ❤️😇

I found gomechanic through facebook ads and decided to give my 5-year-old Maruti Suzuki Baleno for service. I booked the comprehensive package priced at Rs. 5,000 and my car was picked up the next day from my office. The service took around 5-6 hours and I was kept updated throughout. I got my car delivered the same day at around 8 pm just as I was leaving my office. My first experience has been very good with gomechanic. I recommend gomechanic to everyone. Their prices are very less compared to authorised and the workmanship is the same.

It’s been nearly a month and the Go Mechanic executives are yet to show up despite confirming appointments a number of times. For an estimate, they made me take pictures of the car, etc. and while the pictures of the broken bumper were quite clear and they should’ve been able to give me a cost, they insisted on coming home. However, they’re yet to show up or even contact me or let me know there’s be a delay or that they’re not going to work on my car at all. Even their customer service is unresponsive. Update: I tried to again contact them regarding my first and only issue and was told their ground team cancelled it without checking with me. They assumed my problem was solved by contacting another service provider. Then they raised another appointment and it’s been the same issue - no one is aware of the status and remain clueless on how to proceed.

Simple message - IF YOU LOVE YOUR CAR, DON'T EVER GIVE IT TO GOMECHANIC. I always did my service from authorized service center. Due to Covid, I couldn't go for service this year, so decided to give Gomechanic (IIM alum founded, 30 under 30) a chance. But i couldn't be disappointed more. They took the car, did all the diagnostic, and it was fine. After taking the car back, I did a test run with the delivery guy, and saw that the electric side mirrors were not working. The delivery guy offered to send the mechanic the next day. However, after 30 mins, they changed their stand and said the mirrors were damaged before pick up and refused any further checks and fixes. I am disappointed at so many levels. I had heard about garages stealing original parts and replacing with fakes, but wasn't expecting anything like that from Gomechanic. Or may be they by mistake damaged any electronics while cleaning. In either case, I wasn't expecting them to not do anything about new customer complaint. This is what rounds of funding do to some founders. They go crazy with their initial success, expands heavily and forget about the customer service. Another start up going down the drain. PLEASE save your original parts in car and don't give it to this company. NEVER use this app.

I have been searching for trusted partner to do my car service and since it’s a premium car, I needed to got to company showroom or a Brand where I get complete assurance. I chose Gomechanic this time and the experience was just amazing. On time call from GoMechanic buddy, on time pick up, regular updates on Car servicing and related work, On time delivery back to doorstep and economical bill amount. Never ever felt so with company showroom as well. A big shout out to GoMechanic Mumbai team. Thank you and Kudos for making life simple specially after Covid situation. 👍🏻👍🏻
