Giki is excellent for making better and more sustainable choices for food, cleaning products, cosmetics, and toiletries. I love how it suggests better options, and I can’t believe the ratings of some of my products at home! I’m going to phase a lot of things out, and replace them with higher scoring alternatives. It’s addictive!! Would be good if they keep adding products from more brands and supermarkets but you can add things yourself and help others out.

This app does exactly what it says. No adverts. Completely free with no secret costs. Has about 75% of my items. Even those more obscure items. Very well later out. Easy to search. Very little wrong. All you need to do is keep on adding more items! Keep up the good work :)

As a co-founder I clearly love the app. Now though it’s about how Giki can help inspire people to make small regular changes that are good for them, better for the environment and fairer to others based on the issues they care about.

Has potential, however, 3 out of the first 4 items I scanned were not in the database and life is too short for the lengthy process for adding them. Also Meridian peanut butter which only contains 100% peanuts and nothing else scores less than those containing palm oil and I’d question if there is any such thing as ‘sustainable ‘ palm oil! Will watch the development of this app with interest.

I've just scanned half the products in my kitchen and was amazed to see how bad my shopping choices have been! This is a fantastic app that will change the way I purchase goods.
