Game Controller Tester Gamepad

Can’t really give it a one star because I didn’t even try getting my controller connected. Just thought it’d be wise to note, this app uses Bluetooth as a connection medium. The app’s description says wireless controllers (Xbox, PlayStation, whatever) are compatible; however, it very conveniently leaves out any mention that the controller NEEDS to have Bluetooth connectivity in general since this is how it connects to your phone. PlayStation users have mostly Bluetooth controllers but Xbox users like myself do not typically use controllers with bluetooth connection. Especially ones who buy custom Xbox controllers for competitive play.

It does show button presses and analog movement pretty accurately. What I’d like to see is an X and Y value displayed for the analog stick movement. This would be really useful for checking for stick drift when buying a controller secondhand, or even testing ones you currently own.

This just works like a charm unlike the other apps. This doesn’t have annoying pop-up ads and doesn’t ask you to subscribe to use it. This app, unlike others, shows you where the analog sticks are moving and how far you’re pressing the ‘2’(trigger) buttons. Idk why others are complaining because this is perfect. One thing that needs updating though: touchpad tracking and PS button tracking. Also, just a suggestion, changing lightbar lights?

Simply perfect. The controller booted up fast, it showed me all the buttons I was pressing in real time and even where I was moving the joysticks. Was able to quickly confirm everything worked right on the used controller I was buying from a stranger. Thanks for this app exactly what I needed.

This app is great for testing PS4 controllers for sure. Helpful for fixing and testing PS4 controllers when you don’t have a PS4 near you. Just sync the controller to your Bluetooth, and diagnose any issue that you may have. Presto!
