Tried this process at Kaaboo with 2 1-day GA passes. If you pre-register it’s a simple process of going by the tent on the way to the Uber pickup. They look up your name, cut off the wrist band and wish you a good night. Left around 10pm and Kaaboo was open till 2am. It took a couple of days for app to reflect that the ticket was resold and another day for money to be sent via PayPal, I was expecting Venmo repayment but money is money. Re-selling the tickets netted me about 30% return on my original purchase. Con: no live transparency on what happens the night of the resale. Pro: YOU GET MONEY BACK. I had 0 original expectations that I would get any money back until I found out about this app, then had very little expectation or cares if it would work.

Seriously such a cool new start up! I could only go to the festival on Friday and Saturday, and had to leave early to drive back home for a wedding. I got a three day pass and was bummed when I realized I couldn’t make it worth it. On my way in to the festival I saw the FlipTix tent and their staff was so friendly. Learning that I could sell my ticket on my way out and get some money back was seriously so awesome. There’s nothing out there like this, I hope to see FlipTix at more events, sports would be awesome

I first learned about Fliptix at KAABOO. I think what they offer is very unique and expect them to get bigger in the future. People leaving early have a chance to sell unused time on their ticket. Alternatively, people can purchase tickets through the app if they are available. What’s great is that it’s LEGAL because they partnered with KAABOO, and I assume they will be partnered with all venues they work with in the future. Definitely worth downloading to have for the future.

So happy this company exists! I could only to go kaaboo on Saturday but had a three day pass. This totally has the potential to eliminate all scalpers. No hidden fees and if your ticket sells you get half the money back. No funny business about it. And the staff were so nice and friendly. Even the president was working hard with the staff. Made my experience so easy, hope to see FlipTix around at other events in the future

FlipTix advertising and promo is misleads you to believe you get “cash” for your ticket when in fact they do not buy your ticket; they attempt to broker your ticket to another buyer. You DO NOT get paid until they sell your ticket. I didn’t find this out until AFTER they hastily cut my KAABOO wristband off. So disappointed. I hope they actually sell my ticket and pay me “up to 50%” of the ticket sale. I foresee a FlipTix black market self dealing scalping market. I suggest you sell your tickets elsewhere. You will feel much more comfortable than I did after they snatched my wristband from me with hot air promises to sell my ticket.
