I’ve known for a long time that kegels are important for female health: to keep from leaking (like when you sneeze or jump), strengthen orgasms, increase energy but until I got Elvie I could not commit to kegels. Partly because I know if you do them incorrectly you can actually cause damage to the muscles of the pelvic floor causing weaker PC muscles but also because I could not tell if I was making progress so I would get bored and stop. With Elvie you are literally playing a video game with your vagina. Each time you squeeze or relax in the right way you see a little ball on the screen move accordingly (think old school coin op space ship games but instead of using your fingers on keys or a joy stick you are breathing and squeezing and relaxing your vagina muscles. It’s actually so fun to see your progress and have it tracked with numbers. Elvie even keeps track of your progress so you keep beating your “scores” and improve. Now I can’t wait to do my kegels! I just hope they add more features like squeeze to shoot an alien and little sounds that reward your brain for doing it right!! Love this. Making health and pleasure fun. Thank you!

Elvie is great, it’s super sensitive and does take some time getting used to. After 4 kids this is a great tool to visually see what I am doing. If I so much as move it will shoot around. After the workout I can actually feel my core strengthening. Only draw back is it’s a bit big to me and for someone who is not sexually active I am a little sore after using it, which is the only draw back. If they could make one that was just a bit smaller it would be great. Overall I think this is a great app and tool especially if you are sexually activate. If not and you may be a little sore after the workouts.

Within 6-8 months of using the device/app a few times a week on average, it began to have issues connecting to the app. Customer service simply gave me a few tips to get it going, but it remains to be undependable where, one moment it works and the next, it can’t connect at all; or even further, it disconnects mid-session locking up mid-squeeze making it look as if my pelvic floor died mid Kegel. Long story short, extremely glitchy for such an expensive device. I can only hope i got stuck with a defective one considering how much one has to fork out for this. I need to recheck the paperwork and cross my fingers it came with a lifetime warrantee because I liked it when it worked and I most-definitely couldn’t afford anything else in that category at the moment. First review: I have been using Elvie regularly for about 3 months now and can’t express how happy I am with it! Elvie is great for visual feedback, both during exercise and for progress. It also helps in ensuring you’re doing the exercises correctly (focusing on correct muscles, breathing, etc.). If you're doing it wrong, it's pointless, so I'd say this is definitely worth getting if you're looking to build stronger PC muscles that lead to better orgasms, making him, her and/or yourself feel better during play and plenty other benefits.

I agree with other reviews saying it would be a lot nicer to have a practice mode. There are some exercises in particular I am really bad at, and I’d like to have focused sessions on that type of exercise without the pressure of having to redo an entire set to do it once. I also wish there were a pregnancy mode or similar - my kegels have gotten a lot weaker due to the weight of my baby/body, but it is still holding me to the standard of my pre-pregnancy kegels, which is honestly really discouraging. It makes me not want to use the app because I know my scores are going to be so low.

I had been looking forward to getting this for a long time and I just started using the app. However I am disappointed in my progress. I feel that the biggest obstacle for me to overcome is the pressure to do well in each workout which translates to making it hard for me to relax and do well. If there was a practice mode for each skill (pulse, lift etc) that would be perfect for me. That way I can really see how my movements make the ball respond and what I am doing wrong. I find the workouts to be more of a test and each exercise is so quick is hard to really focus on each skill.
