DynaMed

I regularly use DynaMed. The resource has grown considerably over the years. It is a trusted tool to use for point of care information and decision making. CME accrual and submission is incredibly easy. Alerting functionality is great, letting me know when the editors make enhancements to the topics most relevant to me. Format of content makes it easy to quickly get to the relevant information. Highly recommend to anyone in practice. Thank you, DynaMed!

In the past I was introduced to UpToDate and I had been using UpToDate for quite sometime before discovering DynaMed. I believe I have found a superior resource for my clinical practice in using DynaMed. I find DynaMed to be more user friendly, better organized and I find the most current evidence based answers I need much quicker and easier than in UpToDate. Thank you for this great resource!

I have used DynaMed Plus for approximately 1 year. Throughout my experience I have been able to locate information easily. Content has been updated frequently presenting evidenced based guidelines. Well done.

It has trouble accepting typed input especially if you’re searching for 2-word search terms or more. Letters missed, entire words misspelled, endless loading circles for every letter added on no matter how much you spam the keyboard. Read ahead of time because this bug creates big delay in finding crucial sections of info at point of care. Older versions did a much better job of implementing this feature. Will change rating once this bug is fixed.

I used Dynamed a lot when I worked in rural Honduras where I didn't have internet access. The ability to download content ahead of time is a huge plus, and I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to do it again since moving to Nepal last week to work in a rural hospital. Every time the download progress bar hits 100%, it just resets to 0% and never finishes. I have tried deleting and re-downloading the app multiple times, to no avail.
