Discount Tire

I can make an appointment however I could not add a note to the appointment. The local shop needed to order my tires so they would be available for my appointment. I could not add a note to it to let them know. I had already had my consultation. I need to make a second appointment to have the other 2 put on and of course can not let them know they have the tires available. I the shop and Discount Tire have always had awesome customer service. Make the just as awesome.

Discount tire and their services are outstanding however this is one of the most broken apps I’ve ever downloaded. It’s very glitchy everything is slow. In some parts of the app it was not reacting to fingerprints I almost gave up and just decided to use the website (which by the way is much better with no issues). Setting up an appointment on this app was very difficult with it being broken, and they have another feature on here that lets you see how different wheels would look on your car and no matter which wheel I clicked on it would not show up, it would only show if I clicked on the share button and when trying to click on a different wheel it starts you all over back to the home screen. Overall WORST APP EVER please take my word for it and just use the website instead I thought using app would be easier, but instead it was awful.

For SUV, & Truck users who need more than on road tires, this app lacks a side by side tire statistics comparison chart. Users who have to copy & paste tire stats on a separate note pad to figure out which tire is the best for them. The automated Discount tire app pre selects street tires. Off roading tires are much more complex. Mud/ All- Terrain/ Snow tires are much more specialized. People who purchase SUV’s & Trucks will occasionally or routinely use off roading tires. Other terrain & weather conditions are tire selection considerations(Hot dry, wet & icy, mountainous or flat & leveled). On a separate note, SUV & Trucks owners tend to lift there vehicles. Thereby needing a bigger tire. I suggest that you develop a separate tab for those of us that own AWD or 4X4 vehicles.

The app is fine I guess but it’s not really an app just a web view of their website. Downloading the app doesn’t offer any real benefit to customers. It’s obvious they’re not interested in improving the experience for people, more likely this was built to get permission to track your your location in the background. In fact when shopping for tires the experience is actually worse because instead of swiping to go backwards you have to use tiny backwards and forward nav arrows at the bottom of the window. Seriously, just save the space on your phone and use the web browser.

Difficult to use, a lot of back and forth of the screens, have to repeat input of data, In my case my car has staggered tires it’s difficulty to link sets several times specified MICHELIN and it pulled up several brands the only thing improved was the finger print ID. It may work fine for the straight forward show me a tire but for those of use it to look at, compare and look at options ie: plus 0 plus plus 2 Then I want to pick what fronts I want and add it to the rears as a set you can’t do it. It auto calculates for 4 tires and have to keep changing it on each view.
