Dex Companion

With every decent dex app disappearing from the AppStore, this one is a blessing. I could go on and on about how awesomely helpful it is to have this app available, whether for use along the games or simply for reference/a quick check, but fact is that it provides just about anything a fan needs from it. The app is worth having, plain and simple. Thank you for making it. Feedback: The app crashes after prolonged use, such as using Team Builder and having it crash just as you save the team, which causes you to have to redo it all over again. Suggestions: I would like to see a traditional type advantage/weakness chart. It would be quicker to look at the chart instead of typing in the type(s), although both methods are helpful, and it would be cool to see both methods available. Overall, I just like to review the chart whether leisurely or mid-battle. Another suggestion would be to remove the limit of having to build a team based on the game. I wanted to save a sort of “Dream Team,” but could not do it since the app limits what members are put into a team based on the chosen game (for example, I cannot have Dragonite and Dragapult in my Dream Team since Dragonite is so far not in Sword and Shield while Dragapult is not in any of the previous games). That is about all I’d like to see. Those two suggestions are unnecessary, but I would like them mostly for playful purposes. Besides those two things, this dex app is fairly perfect.

I have searched and downloaded EVERY Pokédex app on the App Store, looking for one to keep track of the Pokemon I’ve caught and this was the ONLY one I found that met my needs. While there were some other nice ones, none of them tracked. This one’s interface is beautiful, it shows weaknesses and has other great information for a casual player like myself but the tracking was a big plus from me.

Perfect information, team builder, honest about ads and data tracking, fairly clean UI. Love it! Needs touch up. Search takes too long sometimes and lots of lag.

I love the app. There is an option to unblur the pictures for free within the app. I only wish that it showed the shiny variations as well. 10/10 would download again.

can you add a feature to search for abilities and see the pokemon that have it, or for moves and see the pokemon that have them? even better if you can search multiple moves at the same time, like if i want a pokemon with flamethrower and solar beam to see all those options. any that have intimidate as well? great app otherwise!
