I love this game. I love making new buildings, doing the missions and robbing people. It’s fun. What makes this game terrible is how much time it wastes. Literally. I have finished smoking bowls before the ‘collect all’ button has finished collecting the money in my large neighborhood. I have walked into the bathroom clicking on someone’s neighborhood to rob and by the time their neighborhood loads my bowels have long been empty. When I played this game a couple years ago there were actually options to listen to long obnoxious ads for two chunks of free gold. The upgrading of buildings now will take 4+ days with the option of 1,200 gold to finish it immediately. Come on dude. I used to love this game and it isn’t even fun anymore. The only reason why I am writing this review is that I actually finished a shower and had my pajamas on in the time it took for a robbing to complete. I’m so done with this game. I’d rather play sudoku.

This was one of the first games I downloaded when I first bought an Apple device. So I’ve been playing it every day for many years. But now this game is completely hopeless! The game continues to hang and lag. I’m now WiFi dependent to play this game, because if I open the app using data (my high speed unlimited data plan) the game will not cash in my buildings or do anything else except spin that stupid loading wheel. The only way I can play is with WiFi, and I need to complete my cash-ins as soon as the game loads or it hangs after about 5 seconds of loading, even on WiFi. I can’t complain about the game support though, because there is NONE!!! I’ve written to them several times about these issues and I’m still being ignored. I’m going to look into getting my money back because the developer isn’t delivering what they advertise. Plus, the game is rigged!!! Whilst I understand the developer is out to make money, they still shouldn't make it so obvious you have absolutely no chance of ever winning the main prizes. A shame this game has gone downhill so fast. What’s the use if you can’t play it on data? I’m not always connected to WiFi. If you are new and thinking about this game, avoid it. DO NOT spend money with the non-existent ignoring developer who won’t reply or fix these issues. The App Store should remove this game and fine the developer until these issues are fixed or force the developer to issue refunds to all the users affected.

To open this game prior to iOS 11 the initial loading screen took between 45-60 seconds. Running on iPhone 7 Plus. After the iOS 11 update, game takes over 2 minutes to open, unbelievable. And if the screen goes to sleep, quickly turning the phone back on, opens the loading screen then closes the app even after 90 seconds of loading, don’t let ur screen go to sleep cause once u unlock the phone the game looks like it’s gonna keep loading but then crashes.. seriously takes me 15 minutes if my screen keeps going to sleep and the game keeps crashing. To load the game I literally have to tap the screen so it won’t go to sleep. Another problem with this, I sold one of my buildings because the tapping I do to keep the screen on in loading, the tapping is working in my home base. I know it sounds crazy but it is making me mad to the fact that I sold a building by accident because this game loads all messed up now

Now this game is hardly playable. If u have tens of thousands of dollars burning a hole in your pocket then this is the game for you. Of course if it actually plays right you might actually win and then not get the items your suppose to. Contact customer service and youll receive the treatment of a vile enemy. Now dont think I'm only a hater. I have played this game since the original creators brought it online. The issue is gree is the most corrupt game developer in the business. They purchased the game when it was great. Now Theyll burn you, when all u want is what u payed for. Good luck they'll make excuse after excuse to not let you get what you deserve. Apple use to refund for the mistakes of gree. Now your on your. Play at your own risk.

My go-to game! I’ve been playing since 2012 and will be playing for much longer! Yes the game has taken longer to load than usual and not as many challenges as usual but that can be fixed. I also noticed too many players are impatient. I’ve never paid with real money and never really needed to. I love this game and will continue to play. More fun with your friends (in your syndicate) too.
