Counselling & Psychotherapy Research (CPR) is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to connecting research with practice. Pluralist in orientation, the journal recognises the value of qualitative, quantitative and mixed method strategies of inquiry within psychotherapy and counselling research. It seeks to be relevant both to a core disciplinary constituency and also a broader interdisciplinary readership. CPR is a journal of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, promoting reflexive research strongly linked to practice. The aims are to ensure that research remains relevant to practice, and for practice to continue to inform research development. The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy is a membership organisation and a registered charity that sets standards for therapeutic practice and provides information for therapists, clients of therapy, and the general public. As the largest professional body representing counselling and psychotherapy in the UK, BACP aims to increase public understanding of the benefits of counselling and psychotherapy, raise awareness of what can be expected from the process of therapy and promote education and/or training for counsellors and psychotherapists. CURRENT SUBSCRIBERS to Counselling and Psychotherapy Research can “pair” their device with their personal or institutional subscription to enjoy full access in this iPad edition.
