I tried this new app out today and it worked well for my group. I have been using VolunteerSpot for a while but needed a way to sign up people in a group - not collect emails and send them a note later but get commitments while we are face to face. We tried the 'pass the app' mode and got people signed up quickly. The on screen prompts led beginners through the process, I only had to help out one person who got stuck. I am really looking forward to trying this in our back to school meeting!!

This app works great. I was able to bring my iPad to the first team meeting and get parents signed up for a whole season of various volunteer duties. I love not having to keep track of everyone's contact information and what they signed up for. VolunteerSpot does that for me and also sends reminder emails to volunteers. It makes being an organized team mom a very simple job. The app also tracks all my other VolunteerSpot activities in the same place. Nice!

I am a user of VolunteerSpot as an organizer and I feel if you are organizing one activity or 10 activities, the VolunteerSpot app is the perfect compliment to the web based system for organizing and signing up for activities. When I learned that an app was available, I knew it would be a great benefit and allow me to check the progress of volunteers signing up. Being able to do that remotely and in seconds has wonderful value. Not only is the app outstanding, but if have needed to contact The people at VolunteerSpot for various questions. Every time, and I mean every time their response was prompt and answered in detail. I love the app and use it on both my iPhone and iPad.

This app has eliminated our need for a volunteer coordinator at our food and wine festival. We just need one person to oversee inputting the event needs and email the sign up link to our volunteers. This app lets me pull up what shifts are open and who has already volunteered when I am at meetings to give the committee a quick update. It's a life saver!

Love this app! Everything I appreciate about VolunteerSpot - on my iPad for real life events. So easy to get PTA and football parents signed up for our activities DURING the meeting - and I follow up with an email invitation after for those who couldn'tt attend. Parents love that they get reminders automatically and I do to. (Needs wifi)
