Store Performance Index shows overall performance of your app on app stores. It is based on combined ASO & reviews metrics.
User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I’m like another user, I am going out of my way to review this app because I had such a terrible experience with it. I downloaded the app and topped it up but then it became buggy and I deleted the app in order to try to fix the bug but the app keeps crashing on me and I can’t even create a new profile. I’ve been having to get other people with the app help me do my laundry. Incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. To any universities or other potential customers, please please don’t inflict this app on your students or residents. A coin operated system would be much better. (Now speaking to the Circuit app developers, maybe fix your app??? The concept isn’t that terrible, but the execution is. If you could fix the bugs and make the app initiation and not a frustrating experience to use, I would be happy to recommend it. But it certainly isn’t fit for a recommendation right now.)
I thankfully only had to endure this app and process for 5 weeks and it was the worst laundry experience I have had. I would give it 0 stars if possible. Multiple times either the machines or the app would not work, but he app would still charge the money from my account. They are reasonable with refunding the money, but it’s annoying having to do it 5/6 times I do laundry. As well as the fact they are only open 8am to 5pm to issue refunds. Once I was told this company would call me back the next day within 24 hours to issue the refund when since it was after 5pm, but I received no call the next day. Another thing is the machines they use are very aggressive when it comes to cleaning clothes and actually has put holes in my shirts and socks while using this service. I would advise all institutions or facilities to never put you constituents through the pain of using this company. It has robbed me of my money and wasted so much of my time and energy. Please use another service or use a laundromat or really anything else.
I’m usually not the type of person to review apps; however, for Circuit Laundry, I’m willing to make an exception. Simply put, it takes one day to open a bank account, but who knows how long it will take to do a load of laundry with Circuit. Whoever designed this app should forever live in shame. Their parents should disown them, their spouses should divorce them, and their children should change their names. Never in my life have I encountered an app so broken and unsalvageable. The only way it will work is by the grace of almighty God. However, even then, it’s barely functional, and you will need to devout a considerable amount of time to complete a SINGLE load of laundry. Your own customers are laughing at you and how inept you are- no support or interaction at all from your end. I’ve been trying to get a hold of you to fix these problems... but you seem unwilling/unable to respond. My only conclusion is that you want to upset your customers and run a terrible business. If this is the case (which I hope it is), YOU HAVE THOROUGHLY SUCCEEDED!!
Your company and app is useless. You have scaled to the point where everything is so badly mismanaged and it is strongly impacting my experience at university as well as everyone I know who uses circuit laundry. There are constant break downs with the app and machine. You have got that right and with consistency. The amount of times I have gone down with all my laundry to find the machines out of order or the app not working is a joke. I have wasted so many hours trying to do my laundry. Another example of a nightmare with this service is a journey I am leaving for in a couple days and I need to pack my clothes. The machines are down. Am I expected to wash them a week in advance? This is not right. Servicing the machines takes ages and makes the whole laundry offline for hours. There are 400 people in my student halls. I can only hope these machines work for the rest of the year and that our voices through the student union can hep remove Circuit entirely from the campus. Very disappointing.
This is my first app review, but I felt obligated to say something because of how absurdly bad this app is. Not only have I seen better development out of high school comp sci projects, but this app has “taken” money from me on multiple occasions, saying the machine ran when it did not. Additionally, it connects to the machine correctly maybe 1 in 3 times, and only lets you add funds above £5...so you have to waste even more money when a cycle costs a few pence more than you have loaded. I would never use this again if I could, but unfortunately it’s the only option available at the place where I’m staying. User beware.
