The most important aspect of the game, the gameplay is fine. There are some unique features that make this game unlike hearthstone or shadow verse. However, this game have some issues. First of all, since the game is just released, there isn’t a lot of content. This itself isn’t a big problem or anything negative since it’ll eventually be updated with more stuff to do. The next thing is connection. I’m not sure if it is just me, but the game losses connection a lot during the middle of a match. It even caused me to lose a game once. The next issue that I had encountered are bugs. There aren’t much bugs that will affect anything, they’ll be fixed if you just reopen the app. However, there are several times when I lost even though I still had 1 or 2 hp left. Overall, this game is a good game with some minor flaws, and would possibly improve with future updates.

I play this game mainly for when I feel up to a challenge.

So when this game first came out I really thought it looked fun and interesting but the reviews scared me away for a long time. But today I decided I would try the game out for myself. I have to say after playing it for a while I agree with most of the reviews I’ve read. The game is extremely unbalanced even against the AI characters. I mean the gameplay is fun don’t get me wrong but it’s hard to enjoy it fully considering how many fault the game has. First I don’t understand why I take the time out to build my own deck and I can’t even use it in the campaign. The game gives an auto deck for each character and won’t even allow you to study the cards before playing a match. You end up with the highest costing cards on your first turn and not enough mana to do anything with. Meanwhile the AI gets an advantage especially if the game forces you to play first. I’ve played the same level like 4-5 times before I finally won but the next level was even worse than the one before it. The campaign should not be this difficult in my opinion. I think the game has potential but the creators really need to work on balancing the game more and it might be more fun to play.

I gave this game a 4/5 stars. Now my reasoning behind it is that it’s unique. The game engine they used is relatively cool. The tutorials were decent and not very long at all. They got the basics down within 10 minutes and it was understandable. Now the problem I have with the game is the suits and type of creatures. As of right now the game is lacking. I understand that it is a new game and I’m sure more will be added in the future but the game mechanics are pretty basic and the abilities of most moneyed are basic too. I’m hoping to see a huge addition of game mechanics. If the devs are reading this please feel free to reach out to me to hear some of the mechanics I think you could add pretty easily. If things do or don’t change within the year I’ll update my review.

I play PaD ALOT, so when I heard Gung Ho came out with a newer game I was intrigued. When loading the game onto my IPhone 7+ I had to do the update and refresh or retry the update a couple times. For unknown reasons the game likes to pick and choose when it will play the videos of the story. I actually beat the game and the different stories of the characters really interested me and when I reached the end of their chapters it was like I was missing more info, like a cliffhanger... I liked the art style of the characters, it reminded me of Bravely Default by SquareEnix. When I finished story mode I tried free game and the free game connections need some help. It lags or you just lose connection during gameplay regardless of being on good WiFi or not. And I feel like they could do more with character card ideas.
