Calvino Noir

This is an excellent game. Kind of a role playing, puzzle solving detective story, placed in a film noir setting. It is challenging, but does not require reflexes that are too quick (good for us old guys). The only suggestion I have is to allow the player to save “on demand”. I got tired of having to start over and lose all progress every time I got killed. Otherwise, I would rate the game at five stars.

I love this game! Love the hard work they put into the story line, very interesting! Only a few suggestions: I think the action icons look a bit out of place and could maybe be styled to fit the theme of the game more. Not a fan of the yellow or cyan blue in the dialogue. And maybe have different jazz songs for each chapter. Love the moody feel of the one song that plays throughout the game though. Good job developers!

I just started playing and wanted to manipulate the music, see what settings were in the game. So I click on this menu while I am playing the game. It shows three lines and the “Main menu”. And all I can do is return to the beginning of the game and start over. I don’t understand why they are using an icon that shows multiple options but when you click on it it only has one option.

I’ve now gone through the game twice. Check out the details of the settings. I like having a narrative then a combo of strategy and speed. I keep the sound off. Way too much dialogue, interrupts the flow, but can tap through it. I would pay for more, and I never pay!!!!

It's a rare occasion in which I invest time one into anything on the App Store anymore, but I must admit this game has me hooked! I have long enjoyed the noir genre and this is quite nearly a perfect example of it brought into game form.
