Staying on top of your health requires keeping track of a lot of numbers, and we want to help you make sense of them. The Balance Health app makes it easy to keep on eye on important trends by tracking your blood pressure measurements. The app’s intuitive interface and interactive graphs help you dive deep into your results and understand how they change over time. <br><br>Whether you’re keeping close tabs on your measurements for medical reasons or just want to check in from time to time to learn more about your health, our app helps you clearly visualize how you’re doing and stay accountable for your results. The friendly in-app tracking assistant makes it simple to set up your monitor, navigate the app, and understand your numbers. Input your results manually or sync them directly from our Balance Bluetooth Blood Pressure Monitor. You can also turn on an integration to share your data with the Apple Health app.
User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
Would love the app better if I didn’t have to login to it everytime I use it. I only open it like once every 2-3 months. I don’t check my bp often, but I always have to login, then I have to resync the monitor to my app even though when I wasn’t logged in it was trying to import the current reading, but is unable because it needs to be logged in. It’s annoying, but I’m sure if I used it daily or weekly, it would probably be better.
... but I got this app to pair with my fancy new high-tech (but unbelievably inexpensive) Balance BP monitor. Not only did the app get me set up and taking my BP in about two minutes, but it paired with my Apple Health app in less time that that. AND I had a question about how to add notes to the records in the app, so I sent a help request from the app. Less than 15 minutes later I got an email response, which immediately got me into the notes part of the history. (Thanks, Kiley!) I used to run a physiology research lab back in the day, and I wish we’d had an app and a piece of equipment like this back then! And that the (expensive) equipment we used then had anything near this kind of responsive customer service.
First the Bad: a lively app except the weekly and monthly graph are not truly representative because they edit reading out. I found the graph programming routinely edits out high and low BP and Pulse readings. While that may make a prettier graph that makes you feel better about your readings it leaves out reading, often the dangerous readings in my case which makes the graph feature useless. In my case I have dysautonomia, so tracking the full variability of reading is important. The GOOD: Bluetooth function work great most of the time, will catch up on future readings if not uploaded automatically each time. Monthly history reports showing all readings is very handy, no more manual BP logs. Recommendation to manufacturers: Add ability to make graph of each month in the history. Have graphs include highest and lowest readings of each day, or at least 48 hour period. Have a separate graph function the graphs daily average, so just one data point per day for those tracking average trends. For someone who doesn’t really need to closely track vitals this app is a 5 star app, for those with medical issues needing careful tracking this app is still lacking. Hopefully a update will be able to fix shortcomings.
This is a great product - I’m changing my diet and lifestyle, so having quick and mobile access to my heart rate is an excellent insight to how, where, and when my heart is under stress. HEY DEVS - I would love a way to note each reading, or label them, or group them, etc. For example, I workout, sleep, and go to the office at random times - so if I could add a label or note to each reading, then I could group them and see correlations. [update] - Found the feature! It has notes! Swipe left on the historical entry and an entry can be noted or deleted.
I was very surprised at how easy it was to use and set up. After having a recent emergency that requires frequent blood pressure checks, my healthcare provider suggested this monitor but urged me to do some research. I found no better product at any price range. It was easy to set up after downloading the app. This thing is going to save lives! If you are in the market stop looking and buy this monitor. You will not regret it.
