First of all, I LOVE LOVE this device - when it works, which is a lot of the time. However, as noted on many reviews, it has some big bugs that need worked out. I was on the waitlist during beta testing, and have the first model released, which I received around the first of February. When working, the modes are SO helpful. I use it nightly to fall asleep, and will turn it back on if I wake during the night and can fall right back to sleep. I’ve used all of the other modes, and enjoy them, but the sleep one is my favorite. However, I’ve had to do a factory reset numerous times as it just stops pairing with the app. This is especially frustrating when I’m putting it on just before bed (and increases stress). Also, the power cord doesn’t connect smoothly with the device anymore, and I have to prop it to ensure connectivity for charging. Conclusion: a really great and helpful device, BUT, needs to have these bugs addressed in order to be a 5 star product, especially for the price. PLEASE work on this.

I really enjoyed using this device and found it provided particularly good results in the sleep mode. I wore it on my ankle nightly to help me fall asleep. About a month after purchasing, my device started to come apart. It would not stay together even though I never dropped it and all of the pieces were intact. I was extra careful with the device and if I wore it, the device stayed together and still worked. Unfortunately, that did not last long. I have only had the device for approximately 3 months and it will not work at all. I have charged it. I have completed a factory reset. I have deleted and downloaded the app again. It just won’t work. I contacted customer service over a month ago and received NO response. I just sent another email today and received an automatic response basically stating that they can’t keep up with the volume of customer needs and it will take longer than usual for them to get back to the customer. I feel like a month should be sufficient time for someone to respond even if they are back logged.

Do you have to sign in with your email to use your device? Yes. Were the people that built this application capable of building a simple signin service that works > 1% of the time? No. Does the application have to recognize Bluetooth connection to use the device? Yes. We’re the people that built this application capable of managing Bluetooth connectivity? They’re better at this than network services but not much. I’ve seen HRV improvements over the past 2 months while attempting to use the device regularly so there does seem to be some benefit. However, since the app must work in order to use the device, I’m very unsatisfied at this point. The two main issues above are things that should take a single person maybe a week to figure out and resolve - instead they’re lasting issues with no resolution in sight. I’m currently playing sign in roulette after reinstalling the app (again) to see when their backend service finally decide to let me progress to entering into the rest of the app so that I can repair the device (again) so that I can use it. This is the biweekly ritual. You might wonder why you even need to sign on to use the device. Well I’m wondering that as well. You might wonder why you even need the app to operate the device. I hate to give bad ratings because I have an app of my own and understand how little glitches can happen so I’ve waited a few weeks to provide feedback assuming the issues would be resolved. Unfortunately the issues remain and for $350 I have to say I’m really surprised that this device and the app never, ever seem to work. My husband is a tech wiz and if he can’t fix something or get it working after weeks of trial and error + contacting tech support, there’s a major problem. The device doesn’t pair, the app doesn’t load, it won’t let me sign in (stating there is an error over and over again)... isn’t it a tech company that created this wearable device for stress relief? Then why does the tech never work and the stress only increase as a result? So surprised and disappointed. Will have to seek a refund.

I had my Apollo for a month and it stopped pairing with the app and my phone. It took a while for customer service to respond... over a week. They were able to talk me through the factory reset process and now my device works again. They were prepared to replace my device if needed. So, I had initially left a bad review, but I’m updating this. The device itself works very well for sleep and relaxation and I’m glad I stuck it out. It looks like they’re updating the software because others had these problems as well.
