Aksigorta, established in 1960, is the 3rd biggest player in Turkish insurance market with 625 million USD annual premium production. Aksigorta has 700 employees, 10 regional headquarters, over 3.500 independent, 770 Bancassurance agencies, 104 brokers and 3.600 contracted institutions. Aksigorta offers a vast variety of insurance products such as health, travel, car, home, etc. Our vision is to make insurance lean, easy and accessible. The company focuses on gaining sustainable competitive advantage by focusing on digital technologies. After the partnership started in 2011 by Sabancı Holding with Belgian global insurance group Ageas, both Sabancı Holding and Ageas have 36 % stake each in Aksigorta, the remaining 28% is traded at the Istanbul Stock Exchange national market. Ageas is a listed international insurance Group with a heritage spanning 190 years. As one of Europe’s larger insurance companies, Ageas concentrates its activities in Europe and Asia, and ranks among the market leaders in the countries in which it operates. It represents a staff force of over 40,000 people and reported annual inflows close to EUR 30 billion in 2015.
