I was looking for a simple file manager to move files from my PC to my iPhone without going through the hassle of going through iTunes. This app fits the bill perfectly. Very fast transfer via wifi. I wish the transferred audio files were playable though the Music app, but the included player works well enough. It it needs to handle stopping and resuming better. It wants to return to the start of the track each time, which is a problem when listening to long podcasts. Make the audio playable through Music and it's five stars from me.

It’s 2020 and you have a first gen iPad that seems fine and you’d like to use it. Apple stopped supporting it years ago though and iTunes doesn’t even see it. Short of booting up a really old Mac to manage your music, music playlists, PDFs, text documents, videos, pictures, etc you might think you’re screwed. Enter AirDisk Pro, which contains players and editors for all media types that exceed any of the stand alone apps that still function on old iOS devices. You can upload from a web browser, your Mac, Dropbox or iCloud. It handles decompressing zips, rars, etc. It Supports most modern media file types. It edits text, password encrypts your files, records voice memos, etc, etc. Hell, it un-bricked my first gen iPad, it’s a bloody miracle. Best value in an app I’ve ever seen!

I just tested this app out with my MacBook Pro and it works like charm. You simply input the op address given to you in the app into your computer and then you just drag and drop files back and forth between the two instantly! This process is not only near instantaneous but it is also a lot more convenient with less restrictions that transferring data through iTunes! The whole process is clean, quick, and the user interface is user friendly and very simple to navigate with simple clear directions and many options to manage your files such as for photos a "save to camera roll". I didn't know this type of file transfer was possible over wifi! 5 stars all the way! It turns out I'm keeping this app!

This was perfect for my situation! I have a newer iPhone but an older MacBook so using the latest iTunes for whatever reason wouldn’t work to connect the two so this app gave me the ability to transfer music and photos over an IP address. Worked like charm. The only problem I faced was when I tried transferring a large amount of photos at once the app crashed so I just cut the transfer in half it was fine. Good job with app and thank you so much!

Since our iPads don't have a traditional hard drive to "hold" things, like pics and documents, we need an app to do it. I've tried a few and this one is my favorite. Great interface, easy to use. The individual who reviewed this app and wrote "piece of crap, don't waste money" is an idiot who doesn't know how to follow simple instructions. It was easy to figure out and it is my favorite app for transferring docs and storing them on my iPad.
