Shudder: Horror & Thrillers

LOVE Shudder! Great selection of horror movies (much better than Netflix/Hulu). I like that you can leave reviews for movies. The app works well for the most part, there's just a couple of minor issues. It would be great if hitting the back button would take you back to where you were in the list of titles, rather than having to scroll back down to where you were. A "next episode" button would be cool as well. But overall I would definitely recommend Shudder!

The tv app is working much better now and theres a lot of new original horror shows and movies to balance out the old movies and such. Still wish there was an easier way to change payment info (maybe a design similar to Netflix) online. The review systems needs tweaking. I try to rate and review movies I watched, but it gives me errors when I submit them. Also I noticed some movies won't play on my Roku TV, but play on my tablet. Other than that loving the added content.

I LOVE the shudder channel! It has tons of great and obscure horror titles...but when it comes to the app, it's subpar. It seems dated, and isn't very user friendly. The app is not capable of handling any account issues, and when you review a movie, there's no way to edit your review...that's just dumb. Sometimes people hit send by accident, or wanna revise it. But nope not on this app...also kinda wish it had trailers. It could be so much better.

Overall the content is superb...it's great to find lesser known horror gems!! I absolutely love the collections! They are my go-to when browsing. Above all else, I'm really glad that horror content is available (in one place) outside of the big streaming companies. My only feedback for the app is making the loading experience quicker. It has gotten better, but it's still a bit slow to load up when first opened...not a deal breaker though. Rating: 4.5

Great service and content, but the app needs work. Id appreciate a back button of some kind that takes you back to where you were in the browsing list, instead of all the way back to the top with my phones back button. Also if youre watching a series, there should be a button to start next episode after youre through with one. Being my first time with Shudder though, i was nicely surprised by the quality of content.
