I've been playing this for a long time and I had hoped that there would be some changes to give the game a well deserved rating, but it's been the same. Ultimately, you have to grind in this game and that's fine - assuming that the items your grind for actually drop, and you get more than 2. The gatcha is really unbalanced and puts artifacts and characters together, which can really hurt you. I think the game needs F2P options and rewards we can actually use because things like leifs aren't it.
I love the game and have spent about 400 USD on it, but I have some complaints and some good things to say. I like to support the developers so they can continually add content, and hopefully this review makes it to them. The game is amazing but there are some small complaints of mine. Gold is a nightmare to farm for, and so are heroes. If the amount of gold was doubled per drop, and 4-5 star heroes (ML and normal) drop rates doubled, more people would enjoy seeing consistent good summons.
Edit: Increasing due to some of the changes. Removing Pet snacks was a great start. I have been playing non stop since the beginning of the game and I have loved it. Unfortunately the devs have really lost their way lately. They take everything fans ask for and do the opposite. I hope they take notice from all the recent backlash, because I'd hate to see this game die.
Gameplay is solid. Nice art, and waifus. Very nice gacha system for f2p players. Game has some issues such as lack of end game, and gear being way too expensive/tedious to upgrade. Update as of 01/25/20, devs have been doing some good changes, but there's a lot to be done still. If they continue with this pace, I'll change my rating to 4* and then hopefully 5*.
Playing since day one, 24/7. It's a beautiful, polished game, that's has suffered from a few but severe issues, due to the companies policies. Hopefully, things seem to be going in the right direction, so I have to praise SG for committing into solving some some of the major issues. That said, the lack of late game pve content still punishes the game experience too hard. It's all about mindless farming for equipment and the sense of achievement and reward system is unadjusted.
