User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
It just works. Easy to use. Order to pickup your own food, or order and have delivered. There are alot of food delivery apps. Best one is the one that has your favorite restaurants. Along with having good customer service to handle issues. I order out a few times a week and this app has most of the places I want. In the few years I've had this app, no complaints!
Fails all the time. Sometimes you pay and never get your food. Sometimes you hit order and the order never goes through. It often crashes. They only just recently added restaurants more than a few blocks away. The app frequently has bugs that make it unusable. The newest "feature", was to limit comments to 20 characters. Thats 1/3 of this sentence to communicate everything you want on / off your order. Doordash should be bursting out onto an open market but instead doesnt know how to make an app
Never had a problem with any of the delivery drivers or the time in which they state it will be here. Always on time or before. The only recommendation, which may have already been updated, is your GPS system. Our previous apartment would sometimes get mixed with another address within the system. Easily fixed both times it had happened, thanks to the dashers, but could be helpful for them. Thank you for assisting in my laziness on my days off and when my babe is sick 🙃🙃
Service is great, could get rid of all of the notifications and calls though. I get away least 4-5 push notifications from the app, two to three separate texts from the app, then the driver contacts me (which isn't an issue, I would rather communicate with an actual person) and while you're trying to eat your food, someone from a foreign country calls you and asks how your meal was. They will call back later too, not minding the time of night they call you. Everything else is perfect.
Everything is great up until the actual delivery. App is absolutely horrid at letting you know how long you order will take. Logging on to the web browser is better, but the app won't load after order is placed. If I reload the app to try to refresh it, it will not go past that logo screen Update: over an hour and a half after I placed my order, I went and picked it up myself. I wish the app would just tell me that there are no current dashers on the road in the first place.
