Bible Gateway

I have used this lovely app so many times. It is faithful to the Word. Offers many different translations and options. Reading plans daily scripture. Audio! For three times when it's just nice to listen to the Bible being read to you personally. In the audio they have three different options. Two are narrated by calm voices, the third is a lovely dramatized version. I have and Do enjoy all three. I hope that you will as well. God's Blessing on you all!

1. Unlike the regular web app, you cannot keep up with your progress by marking a reading as complete. That goes along with the following. 2. If you are going to be reading every day, maybe several times a day, it does no good to leave the app open because it's going to reset anyway every time you go back to it, and you will always have to navigate to "Reading Plans". When you do, it is going to always open at the current calendar day, regardless of where you left off, whether you were ahead or behind in your reading. You are, therefore, going to always have to keep up with exactly where you left off, and that's a really dumb way for a smartphone app to work,IMHO. So, while it is a very good idea, and I appreciate the effort, it is very aggravating to use, and I'm wondering if there is a better choice.

Bible Gateway is an amazing app. I love what this app can do, from having multiple versions open to having all of the translations open at the same time. I get emails from them, telling me how to better use the app. This has thought me how to use this app in a better manner. This app makes Bible study a lot easier and fun.

Thanks for the app! Is it possible to listen to the NIV dramatized audio version on the app whilst reading what is being heard on screen? I've had an app that syncs & moves down as the audio is being read out but it didn't have the dramatized version which is a favourite. I can read & listen on the website but not on the app so far so I might just use the website. Thank you!

This app is horrible. Every time I try to create an account I get error messages telling me that I cannot create an account. Useless app that is only good for half translations. Find a different app that you can create an account with. No good. Second review. The app is working now, I have an account and I can read the good book daily and on the go. It's exactly what I need since I am on the move 16 hours a day. Thank you for the pocket size version of the word.
