The YMCA of Silicon Valley YFit app provides class schedules, social media platforms, fitness goals, and in-club challenges. Our app will also allow you to link many of the popular fitness tracking devices and fitness apps on the market. It uses HealthKit to save your workouts, so they can contribute to your fitness goals and challenges progress.
User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
Just started with the app- it combines all my programs into one no more trying to keep track of different sites then syncing
The app works well with Precor and Strava. The interface to eGym is weird. It says open on App Store and it’s not clear if it’s tracking or not. I use Apple Watch to track classes like Pilates as well as for swimming - it even knows what stroke you do. So it would be much more useful if it tracked using the Apple Watch or maybe synced with Apple Health on an iPhone - but then you’d have to be careful not to get duplicate readings. The colors and artwork could be better.
I find the app very helpful in looking for different classes. I can locate and get the experience level for classes.
Really like the apps communication that I can check to see if classes are cancelled. It integrates my exercise classes and FitBit data.
I use this ap for my elliptical workouts. It’s convenient to be able to record data by taking a photo of the workout summary.
