User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
The app is great! The security concerns another reviewer posted are not actually anything to worry about. “Anyone with an email” cannot in fact access the app’s data. You have to be a West Point grad to use it, and the data the app pulls together is already available to grads through the AOG website.
The LinkedIn login option is having some latency issues or something. The login just keeps trying to load and times out. Signed up the other way but it would be awesome if the LinkedIn login worked.
- Discovered and met up with a grad I was unaware lived right in my zip code. - I look up which classmates live nearby whenever I travel. - Was able to immediately find and email oId friends that I had bumped into at Army’s bowl game.
WPAOG has decided for all of us that we want our exact location depicted on a map for anyone who signs up with an email. I did not agree to have my address and full name taken from a database and plastered on a map. If that is hidden in some terms of some agreement, this is a huge disservice and the implications of seeing currently serving officers locations is a real issue. Glad I don’t donate.
Grad Link Team- This entire app is fraught with glitches from trying to connect to LinkedIn to attempting to login direct with my email. Was excited to login after reading the Alumni magazine this weekend.
