Workout now is a great app! I have used it now for about 2 weeks and I am already seeing an improvement in my abs already! The only thing that would make this app better, is if it could give you a choice of what days to workout, what time to workout, and what time to go to bed. I would like to see this because I have to work on the weekdays and in the middle of work it’ll ring and say time to workout. I do extra sports so I don’t get home until 9:30, and the app tells me to get to bed at 9:15. It’s hard to have good confidence when I am not home yet and it is telling me to go to bed.
Couldn’t get my iTunes to play despite having the icon and it connecting to my iTunes. Would also be better if you could do more than one workout per day and not have the app ask if you want to trade the one you just did for the other. But for a free app, the workouts are good, and I would recommend it.
Workouts Are Perfect and Have Many Available Options For Different Body Types, I Am A Soccer Player and Love To Train My Body With Advanced Workouts. My One Problem Is That The App Plays A Ticking Noise While The Workout Is Going To Tell You When The Seconds Go Buy and When The Workout is About to end. This Noise Is VERY Annoying Especially While Listening To Music. There Should Be A Setting Option To Disable This Feature. I Would GREATLY Appreciate For This Feature to Be Added.
The free workouts are basically useless. There are many other apps out there with better variety (for free). Also, the in app body fat percentage calculator is a JOKE! I'm a 36 year old women who's 5'11" and about 160 lbs. according to their calculator, I'm nearly borderline obese and need to lose 47 lbs to be at the ideal BFP. Since when is 113 lbs ideal for someone who's 5'11" (and not a model)!?! It also thinks my 6'7" boyfriend should weigh 167 lbs to be at the ideal BFP. I don't put much stock into these things to begin with, but seriously...who wrote their body fat percentage calculator?!?
The one and only thing I wish it DID do that it doesn’t currently, is make some kind of audio noise when is a rest time. I’m usually too busy willing myself to keep going and not paying attention visually to my phone. Some kind of audio ‘ding’ when it’s a rest time would be nice. Otherwise...great job!
