When I found this game I thought it’d be distracting for that extra time but this game is actually really fun and has great details for a mobile game. I’ve only had a few minor issues with the game the connection for the server to play disconnects me even if my WiFi is working on every other app on my tablet, and only other thing is more of a preference, I’d like to be able to see who all in the alliance Is on and playing I’ve noticed when it says there’s 0 people online there’s still a few online playing. I don’t know if you guys were thinking about making it to where you can invite individuals like you can on gaming consoles but that’d be cool. Even just to be able to send an invite for a game to your alliance and be able to look through your upgrades while waiting for a response would be another thing that would make the waiting for opponents or teammates easier. Well that’s just some ideas I had I know it might not be seen but I just wanted to make a review, this is a great game though, I haven’t been addicted to a game on a mobile device in years and it’s nice to have a fun game that doesn’t require a lot of money to play far into the game. Also they give you the “elite” trial for 3days if you play 72hours or as a reward if your not feeling the price for elite for life or even the elite for a month.
What’s the backbone of any mobile game? What makes the difference between an enjoyable experience and one that’s nothing more than a headache that’ll make you want to quit no matter the outcome? Customer service... plain and simple. I ran into an issue the 2nd day after I started playing and knew this was going to be an experience that would either make me want to delete the game ASAP or an enjoyable one that would make me want to stick with it and play for the foreseeable future. I sent the support ticket in and waited to see which it would be. A few hours later I got my answer. Long story short my problem was fixed, they made it a quick and painless experience where I didn’t have to jump through any hoops and regret even sending the ticket in the first place and on top of it all I got a 7 day elite subscription for my inconvenience. When I see and experience great customer service in a mobile game you know you discovered a gem and I assure you this is certainly one. Of course the games enjoyable and a lot of fun as well but you can figure that much out for yourself so I won’t go into that but just know if you run into any issues the customer service is top notch! Great game!
So, first thing is first, I’ve been playing this for about a week and I am just HOOKED onto it. The gameplay is very quick and requires lots of strategy, lots of different and unique fighters, and you can play with a friend on your campaign. However, just as everything else, there are flaws and things I would definitely recommend. For 1, I have been matched in the events countless times with someone who overpowered my by 5x my level in the events and online. I understand that sometimes people will purposely lost trophies to battle easier players, but in the events there needs to be some kind of regulation. Like perhaps set a standard level and make every troop the same level depending on the rarity. Like, for instance, Clash Royale sets common rarities in tournaments to level 9, rare to level 7, epics are standardized to level 5 and so on. This would really help balance the playing field for the events. Another suggestion that I think would add a new perspective onto the game is adding unique characteristics to the different generals or commanders. Such as maybe one general produces energy faster, or another general can recruit troops for less energy, maybe another can have naturally stronger troops, and so on. Please write back, and I apologize for having such a long review. Thanks for this amazing game and I am looking forward to even more great additions to the game!
I don’t usually write reviews and I’ve only been playing this game for less than a day yet, I’m a gold already and honestly I enjoy the things that are wrong with this game. I spent 10 bucks and got lucky with legendaries and started winning every game because of it and the fact once you get certain cards the games not really fair unless your fighting someone who did the same which, is where I think this game shines but, sadly the sun shines behind a paywall and, for most people that’ll be enough to send em away as a developer you should really want your community as a whole to all have a chance and let skill be the deciding factor but that’s kinda hard when you lock characters who make you immortal behind paywalls and leave everyone else with characters who get cut through like butter. On top of that you can enhance your growth and leveling with money so your units not only are broken but over-leveled and unless you are winning constantly you simply can’t advance in the rankings due to the points system. A diamond in the rough though but once again who knows because, I’m a part of the problem.
So this is a great game for anyone just looking for something new to waste a few hours on. However if you choose to stay with it you will quickly find that the game has a terribly flawed matchmaking system for pvp, which is where you spend almost all of your time. There are multiple ranks starting with bronze, silver, gold, Diamond and more. Each of these has 6 ranks within them you must advance through to get to the next better rank, for example bronze 1 bronze 2 bronze 3 through bronze 6. Once you hit silver however you will constantly be pitted against opponents who are up to gold 6 even if you are ranked silver 1. Then once they pummel you with their higher leveled units, you lose rank and have to climb back up. It seems this is only because they favor speed of matchmaking over quality. In other words it’s okay to the dev to let you constantly get matched against people with units twice your level, as long as it only takes an average of 30 seconds to find a match. However every player if you ask, would much rather wait an extra minute to have a fair match than be thrown into a winless match were there is not point of even being in....hashtag we hate your gold 6 vs silver 1 BS matchmaking system.
