Store Performance Index shows overall performance of your app on app stores. It is based on combined ASO & reviews metrics.
User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
This app is very useful but needs and auto background update feature so that users don’t have to manually download every WiFi location when there are updates, which is usually every few days. It can be a tiring process. An auto-update feature would be the best solution for an app so useful as this. Additionally, there could be a simple “Update All” button that manually triggers all downloaded WiFi locations to update. Please look into this and consider my request. Thanks for your time and attention.
I just spent a frustrating week on a trip to Europe trying to figure out why I could not login anymore to any public WiFi that uses a login screen, as commonly encountered in hotels, cafes, etc. With this app installed, and WITHOUT EVEN USING IT, this is what happens: I would select the network and get the blue check mark that shows you are connected to the access point. Then, normally, you get a popup dialogue with the usual boiler plate text, you select a checkbox and away you go, and get connected to the network. Well with this app on the phone, I could never get the login screen and hence never connect. After trying lots of things , even resetting network settings, I finally deleted the app. I had installed it days before the trip, and this was a Hail Mary attempt. Immediately after deleting I got the login screens. Unbelievable. After not getting into ANY free WiFi in Belgium, France, and the UK. After deleting the app the login screen came up right away. You should avoid this app like the plague. The authors of this app should apologize to each of their users.
I’m going to begin by saying that I love the look and feel of the app...however, you can’t expect me to rate your app honestly by using it one day. It’s my opinion only, but you should give us a few weeks before we can give you true feedback on how it works over time and not the first day we use the app. So far, I really like...so for now, I’ll start with a five star rating because the app was only $5. Edit: Everything is just perfect now :-) WiFi Map Pro would be perfect if you can add option like Instabridge app did it, to connect to wifi network trough iphone settings. No copy/paste, you can just see which wifi is shared on WiFi Map when searching for wifi on your iOS settings. Following this way, you can connect to wifi without even knowing the password. Simplified and safer procedure.
I love this app, I especially love the ability to connect to a locked wifi directly from the settings (without needing to copy paste the password from the app, as it simply puts "Wifi Map Pro" under the wifi name), thank you very much developers, you're the best
