User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I downloaded the app to find out how candidates supported specific issues that I am interested in. The app had an issue finding my voting district based on my address. It kept defaulting to a district 15 miles away. After entering my address for a third time, recognized my district; however did not show all of the races (was missing the House of Representative race completely). I love the idea of this app, but I don’t have confidence after having these two errors.
My husband and I used We Vote during the last election to learn more about our ballots and make some tough choices. Between clicking on various organizations that helped us sort through the confusion of what the initiatives meant, and friending each other and a couple of trusted friends to learn what they were thinking (and vice versa), we felt like we had an excellent pool of information to draw from. It was so great! At last we can do away with sorting through a million piles of paper. I am grateful for a quick and easy way to get my head around how I want to vote, and also a chance to share my thoughts about the initiatives and the candidates.
Love the new UI! The amazing work done by the We Vote team has really paid off. Keep it up! I’ll be using this for the 2020 elections for sure.
The idea of this app is amazing. Pick people , organizations, and issues you care about and see how they’ve weighed in on candidates right on your ballot. BUT the app constantly freezes up, the search function is horrendously slow, and if you try to scroll down the app slows down and the pictures move to the wrong places.
An informed electorate is vital for democracy. And that’s why WeVote is so important. It helps users cut through the noise to focus on the issues they care about and vote for candidates who share their values.
