So far I’ve used it a few times and sent nearly $1,000 to Slovakia from USA. Bank account to Bank account. $5 for the transfer. EASY, USEFUL, And it works great. When you read the reviews everyone is always posting bad reviews talking about customer service etc. ALOT OF PEOPLE need to get out of the Stone Age and start doing things that make sense. They will send money and do it the most expensive way possible, then complain about fees, when a regular bank, which in my opinion should be the cheapest, literally costs double at least. STOP 🛑 giving bad reviews to an app that works PERFECT just because your not happy with the “customer service”. To further my point , it’s like if I ordered an item from somewhere or whatever and the item was received and is PERFECT but I give low rating just cause shipping was slow which has nothing to do with the review of the item. I tried XOOM before this. XOOM is absolute garbage and is a scam company that will do small transfer and then demand personal information in order to do another bigger transfer which will then get cancelled anyways and you have no idea if they actually delete your information or not when you tell them to delete your account. THEIR APP DOESNT WORK - THIS WORKS PERFECTTTT

Before this app, I used to send money to Guatemala using the western union website. Most of the time, my bank declined the charge. I’d have to call them up and tell them it was OK, and then try again. With this app, the transaction ALWAYS goes through the first time without hassle. Maybe because I use Touch ID with this app, the bank trusts the transaction. As to the rest of the app, it remembers everything, making it easy to repeat transactions. Using ApplePay is great, too. The app is reliable and solid, never glitches, and is a joy to use. Great job! I have one suggestion: I love the fact that I can share the receipt with the recipient so they have the MCN number. One problem: it writes the email in English, though I’m sending to Guatemala. Please add the ability to choose the language of the shared receipts. Basing it on the system language or keyboard language is not good enough. English is my first language, and my phone is setup up accordingly. But, it’s not the language that I use with the recipient.

The first time I used it was no issue, I’ve send my mom money apparently she was blocked from the system I then proceeded to ask the lady from customer service if she was able to change the name of the receiver and she kept ignoring everything I said. I asked several times if it would be easier to just change the senders name like they usually do in store and she kept saying that they didn’t do that when in the app it clearly stated “call customer service “ to edit the name . I ended up getting a re-fund then proceeded to send my dad money none the less had another problem and called immediately just to get no answer it’s been the 14 time I call and have to go through all he options just to get to the point where it says “ hold in the line for a customer service representative “ and about 5 seconds later an operating talking another language pops up and the call is ended out of all 14 calls just one went through and had me waiting “a couple of minutes “ that turned into over a 30 minute wait just for them to never pick up . I then emailed them with the problem but said I would be contact within 24 hrs ! Are you serious ? But yet nothing ... I’ve called 3 different numbers of there so claimed 24& 24/7 hr customer service wich is a total bs . & here I am struggling just because apparently it would be cheaper and more convenient when u still end up paying more less the same thing .

I would have given them 5 stars but since the customer service agent lacked proper training and proceeded to hang up on me once handling my 1st concern without asking if I needed further assistance they get 3 stars. I’m sorry but when I’ve sent over $1000 total using your services this year and about $200 in FEES you need to be polite and engage with your customer by asking to place them on hold instead of having “dead air” as we call it in the customer service industry. I had to ask multiple times if she was still on the phone with me still. Also learn to ask if your customer needs any further assistance or if all of their needs have been met prior to releasing the call because you hate your job. BE AWARE that if you have to for some reason cancel a transaction they try not to refund their fees. I had an issue where the receiver of the funds couldn’t collect because the attendants kept seeing a “failure” on their end. Then Western Union said I’d get a partial refund. Umm no. Not how that works. Ima try to now find another route to send my mother money. Not dealing with them again. The app works perfectly outside of this circumstance.

I did a $45 money transfer to a friend because her daughter needed medical attention for being severely dehydrated. They charged me $7 to send when it is normally $5. The app says you can pay with debit card for $5 only but it will not let you add a debit card to the app. My friend is in the process of getting a new government id and only had a temporary id with her correct name on it. The agent refused to accept it as a valid id, even though she had the screenshots from me showing the money is for her and I’m able to do a video call to confirm she is the intended receiver. Instead I had to request a refund because WesternUnion would not let me send the money to her family member instead. WesternUnion also refused to refund me the $7 fee so now I have to resend the $45 and pay another $7 fee. They are charging me a $14 fee to send $45 to help a girl get treated in the hospital. I have used WesternUnion in the past to send thousands of dollars to people in need. I will never ever use WesternUnion again to send money to anyone and I will tell all of my friends and family members and workers to never use WesternUnion. There are many other companies that do not have any affiliation with WesternUnion. This is absolutely absurd and costing me valuable sleep.
