User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I am using this to confirm settings after shooting videos with Filmic Pro, as sometimes that app does not shoot at the proper frame rate, even though it it indicates the correct frame rate in it’s video list. I copy the videos to this app to double check, and the I delete the video from this app right away to avoid wasting space. Works great for my needs. I would happily pay a few dollars to get rid of the ads.
This is only one of the two Apps that I have found in the App Store that is capable of providing basic Video Metadata.. This is a new App and I hope that the developer continues to provide updates to it in the future.. One problem that I noted is that the App will not update itself (clear it's cache) when video files are completely deleted from the Camera Roll.. Deleted files are still displayed.. It appears that the app makes a full copy of each video file in the Camera Roll and maintains the copy in it's own cache. A simple solution would be to add a "Clear Cache" control prompt.. Also, as a suggestion it would be a nice feature if the developer would add an "Extension" to the App in the Photo App Action Menu.. This would make it so much easier to access Video data, without having to first open the App.. EDIT: Still no updates.. To bad because this app definitely has potential, but the growing cache problem makes it pretty much useless. It you have many videos in your Camera Roll it wouldn't take very long before the app would be using up gigs of valuable space..Changed rating to 1 Star...😕
