User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
The app seems to work just fine on my iPad however when I try to get the updated version of the app, which Im forced to do, I dont have the ability to view my favorite episodes---and it really irks me that I cant see my favorite channels as well as know what my favorite idols were doing in past episodes. I would have to scroll-----all the way down so that ai can find find the right channel and the right episodes which would take me sooooo long to manage; just because my favorite channel doesnt seem to appear in the searxh bar. And subscriptions last a full 30 days, which doesnt seem like a long time for me since I watch a Vlive once and every few weeks and I dont have time to start viewing ALL of my subscribed channels in one sitting. Which I want to do so terribly however I dont have enough time to watch all channels. Im a busy woman! And these channels cost about what $35 dollars to subscribe and Im wasting all this money for shows that cut short when Im watching them.
My ONLY complaint is I can never open the app from the actual icon. If I try to open Vlive from the icon it pulls up the blue screen with the logo and nothing will happen. It will sit on that screen for hours (I know because out of curiosity I tested it one day). I have to go to my App Store and from my list of downloaded app I have to find Vlive to be able to open it. This is fine because I am still able to access the app, but it is quite annoying. It adds like three extra steps just to open the app. So if I’m trying to log on quick to catch a live stream in my eyes those seconds matter 😂 I guess there is another small thing, but it seems related. Sometimes the app force closes or I find I have to restart it. I feel these are connected. Just general “bugs” that need to be addressed. I have updated several times and I expected them to go away and they haven’t. So here I am leaving a not so good review. Please fix this so I can send the love this app deserves!
I really liked the redesigning you guys did on the visual aspects of it. I also liked that now I can turn my phone on either side and having the tiny heart button on the right corner. I thought that was a really nice change. Maybe in the future do think about user's being able to change the background color as the white is too harsh on the eyes especially at night. I gave this a 3-star because, although i liked most of the changes you guys' made with the visual, the app crashes almost always every time I open it. And I know its not because of my wifi connectivity because the app ran well on the last update. It also glitches when clicking on certain settings. I had to close the app and open it again WHICH caused another ling wait time. Please fix the lagging problem, glitching, and loading better.
I love this app because i get to watch videos of all the groups i love , whether they are live videos or shows or specials. The one main issue i have with vlive is the HORRIBLE pause button. If i want to pause the video it takes me about 10 tries because of how small it is and it’s in the corner so i end up not tapping it and have to keep retrying. It’s annoying especially if i have to pause the video to respond to a text or because i need to leave the app. A bigger pause button or perhaps a button that appears in the middle would be sooo much more useful. Another issue i have is that with the new update , i can no longer bring down a video to look for more because there is only an x out button. Please fix these two main issues, i’m sure other vlive users feel the same.
Vlive won’t work if I try to use it with cellular data. I’ve had this app since the beginning of June and i’ve never had that sort of issue, but while I was watching the end of Hard Carry 2, it bugged out and stopped working. I tried using someone’s mobile hotspot to use it, and it worked fine. I’ve signed out and signed back in and put the settings the way they were, I reinstalled, and nothing. I’ve also contacted VLive’s help line, but they have not gotten back to me. Update: VLive started working again, after 4 weeks and 2 emails. But, as I decided to stop using it for a few hours, it stopped working when I tried to use it again. I don’t know if this app needs to work on being able to play on cellular data or just needs to completely change, but I know it’s not my device now. Please fix this. p.s. I’m not going to send another email because it always takes 2+ weeks to get a response, and they never actually help.
