I never write reviews but I love this app soooo much. It is perfect and it has completely changed our routines for the better. There was another app that I had found that didn’t have as much stuff and this one is free and so much easier to use. My son is high functioning autistic and really benefits from a visual schedule because he is a visual learner and so I’ve always meant to make one for him and never got around to it but this was already ready to go easy to adjust both the times and the order of the routines and there are so many tasks to choose from. There are a few here or there that I wish I could add but overall we have found something to correlate to our routine. Plus I can set it up on the iPad to run and the kids will check for themselves what they are supposed to be doing and hit it when they are done. In the morning I will oversee it but after school I will have them check it themselves and do what it says. If I had to offer any suggestions I’d say I wish there was a way to make it so that you can put the ending time and it will start the alarm when you have to start. Like if bedtimes 8 you could put that in and it would tell you when to start the tasks so that you finish on time and the alarm goes off then when you have to start by. Also pausing it but it’s not enough to make me not absolutely love it. Thank you all so much!
I love this app but I would like to make your own activities and you haven’t updated in a while! And make a skip button!!!!
Overall it’s a great tool that can be used as visual schedule for kids. I’m using it to prompt my almost 4yr old for what is next, more as a visual schedule vs timer. I would pay to have certain extras like: - a parent skip/next button if the task doesn’t need to be done at that time - multiple schedules for different days (we don’t do soccer every morning or take a bath every night) - ability to customize tasks - ability to pause between tasks (I have a baby so sometimes I need to tend to that before I can help my oldest with certain tasks)
I love the app, it’s helped my daughter stay on task in the mornings so we can make it out the door on time, but there are a few functions that can be improved. I wish you could skip tasks. Sometimes my daughter wakes up a bit late and we’ll have to skip brushing her hair, but as it is now, I have to give her a star for it in order to move on. I also wish that the star count could reset every week.
So I downloaded this app to see if my child would find it engaging. So far, I really like it and so does my son. I would suggest just a few things. 1. Give timer options of 1 minute intervals. It shouldn’t take 5 minutes to put dishes away or clear the table or go potty or to get on the bus... 2. For my kids, I think it would be best to budget their entire morning and evening, which means autostart. Like once you finish one task, it should move on to the next one without having to tap it. If it’s not accomplished in that time, then a star is not earned. It just seems like a tapping game.. or have the option of which ones will do that.. 3. The ability to skip tasks would be nice. Sometimes we wake up late, so doing some things, like making the bed, aren’t as important. But you can’t move on to the next task until that one is completed. So either we fake earn the stars or we just give up on the app for that day. 4. Notifications could be a little more dominant. But I am only just getting used to it and will see if I can change it within my phone’s setting. Thanks! I can’t wait until my kids’ tablets get here so they can have it on theirs instead of my phone!!
