I have been using this app for 5 years & I use it every day for my TM practice. I realized a few weeks ago how much I rely on it when I had a bug on my phone & all my apps had to be reloaded. I was terrified I wouldn’t be able to find it again. I also purchased the calendar & it has made me much more consistent in meditating, which has increased the many benefits of it. Thank you, Russell.
This app is perfect for timing meditations, especially TM. It could benefit from being allowed to import additional sounds and chimes to mark each phase as well as a timeline showing how far along you are and which phase your in. It would also be great to have an Apple Watch companion app that could provide haptic bumps for each phase transition. Update: It also seems that the forum and other support of the app from the developer has completely dropped off. Ongoing support, And Apple Watch companion app, and updates Would be greatly appreciated. It would also be great to see this app ported to other platforms.
I love the app. All the features I could want, & some I didn't think of. All for a very reasonable cost. Thank you Russel! An update, I continue to be very satisfied with the timer. I’ve been using it for years, I’m not sure how many. It is just terrific! Another update. I lost my iPhone, and didn’t know how to retrieve my apps. Got help and got the timer back. Still very happy with it!
The way that this app integrates segments of time with sounds works perfectly for how I meditate. I've tried about a dozen other apps and they all seem to lack one thing or another. The calendar feature was definitely worth a dollar since I had become irregular in my practice so it's a good reminder of how often I'm actually meditating. I'm very pleased with it.
I have tried quite a few meditation apps for my TM practice, and now I have found this one, I have deleted them all. This is so simple and just what I was looking for. I does it all. I wish the numbers on the timer was a little bolder, but it suits my need. I highly recommend it.
