Time Trap: Hidden Object Games

While I’m not exactly sure about what some of the game’s purpose is, I have enjoyed the hidden object element particularly since there’s no timed business to contend with. The occasional puzzles have been simple and I appreciate that. Too, the graphics are nice enough, but all that said, there are ads to contend with after each level and the loading of the scenes is pretty slow. BUT, I have been looking from time to time for a hidden object game and I like this well enough to continue playing.

The good things about game is that it does have a variety of puzzles & hidden object scenes. And it’s best feature is that even though you are timed on scenes/puzzles; the scene/puzzle does not shut down on you so you can take as much time as needed although you will get a lower score. However, this does make for more relaxed enjoyable game play. Some puzzles are a little different from what is offered in other games so that is a plus. The game is very confusing at the start with few instructions. Apparently game guide/support & FAQ’s on Facebook only; which is wrong if games are allowed in Apple App Store as it is unfair to non Facebook users who do not have access to game support & etc.) You get in a scene & not sure what too do. You think you have done what scene has asked yet nothing. Game somewhat unfair as scenes are extremely dark; (I’m guessing what they call vintage; however even vintage usually has color. I’m not sure why the trend in games is toward dark dull dreary depressing scenes with extremely small items & not so interesting sound tracks.) So you will have to zoom in and/or brighten screen. I wouldn’t even attempt game on iPhone as it is difficult enough to see/distinguish items on iPad; at times almost impossible. The menu does not even have a stop or pause that I can find.

This is a great straight ahead hidden object game. The objects are well crafted and hidden which makes the game challenging, but because the game does not subject the player to the usual time constraints and penalties, locating the objects is free of stress and therefore very engaging. One can spend a couple of hours of continuos play, refreshingly different from other hidden object games that limit play to short intervals that requires purchasing something. It's only weak spot are ads between each sequence, but they can be cut short, so not so bad. Great job developers! Hope their other games have similar game play.

Best game I've played. Difficult but that's the way I like them. Art and graphics are amazing!! Love, love, love the picture puzzles, I could do those all day. So I say, bring it. I want more like this. Like the way to chose the ads with the fast forward. They are a small price to pay for an amazing game like this free game. I've been playing it for days and I'm still not done! By the way, the name of the machete is wrong (at least in this part of the world ) what you show is a cleaver used by butchers.

If you enjoy search games and just want to relax this game might be for you. While you do earn stars that get you to the next level the game allows you as much time as you need and allows you to repeat searches in the same level to earn additional stars. This game has good illustrations, relaxing background music and is just challenging enough to hold your interest. Its a rare treat.
