User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
This app is a disaster. It might look slick on the surface. But don’t be deceived. If you are looking to install a new alarm system you wish to control online via an app on your phone, then steer well clear of Texecom. If you are already invested in a Texecom legacy system you wish to control via this app, then prepare to suffer multiple problems of poor design, poor technical connectivity, slow response rates, a very badly thought through user interface and general frustration. The connection speed is slow and the connection is often unreliable. The ability to control the alarm is limited, with multiple unhelpful error messages. The onscreen indicators are poorly designed and often confusing. The workflow is poor. This app is simply bad. It’s an embarrassment to your iPhone. Apple is the opposite of everything about this app and the technical system behind it. I would be surprised if the boss of Texecom runs his own home security via this product. If he did, there is no way it would be this poorly designed and dysfunctional. This is not the future of integrated online security. Beware if you are a new customer with freedom to choose a properly modern system. Sympathies if you are stuck with Texecom and have to put up with this.
App doesn’t do half the things shown here. Eg it doesn’t show the change of modes in the timeline... the idea is good and I hope it improves soon.
