User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
Bought the full version in order to access a designated folder on dropbox where I can sync all my .txt files. I’ve tried a bunch of markdown/text editors out there and this one is decent. The process flow to create a file/doc is decent. Tap the “+”, name your file, start writing. Would be better if you could just start writing and it auto name it for you. One less step. The most annoying part is that it does not “auto-sync” as the developer claims. You have to pull down and manually sync or your last notes (if using cross platform tools) does not show up on the list. Defeats the whole purpose of being able to sync via Dropbox, and more annoyingly, it slows down my work. I’ve actually emailed the developer about this issue and got no response.
All notes just scatter all over the place within my Dropbox folder on my computer - this seems to be different with the paid SyncNotes+ version. However, it all does autosync, as of February 2018 on iOS 11, contrary to what another user wrote.
It seems to work fine with Dropbox but I couldn’t find the option of where I wanted it to store my notes in Dropbox when it syncs.
This free version is mainly a demo. If you want to get into folders in Dropbox you have to get the paid version. From what I can see, for text editing, this app offers little beyond what the Dropbox app does.
Search feature is not reliable. No sort feature. If you have a lot of files it's extremely frustrating to use
