I had symptoms I was worried about and used the app to see what possible cause was the reason - and if I needed to go to the ER. The app asked me quite a lot of questions (more than my doctor does!) and at the end gave a proposal for a self treatment - but also the option to see a doctor. Advice and treatment suggestion from the app was able to take away my worries about having a serious problem; with the treatment suggestion I felt comfortable and only needed to make a trip to Walgreens instead of spending hours in an ER! So for me it worked great and I can highly recommend the app-specifically for a first evaluation of what the cause of the symptoms/pain might indicate and for what to do next.
This app has it's pros and cons. While it has a very easy to use and organized layout with good questions, it is just simply incorrect at accurately gauging what's ailing you if it's not an incredibly common thing. This app is completely forgetting that rarer illnesses exist. When it gets to a certain point without a good idea of what you're talking about, it can't seem to stay on one topic. I went in complaining of some dizziness and it told me I had afib. I tried putting in the back pain that's been plaguing me for literal years, and it decided it had to be a kidney stone or bladder problems. I don't know what's worse, having a doctor shrug at me, or having this thing get confused and neglect the biggest symptom. Honestly, I'll just stick to googling. I will admit, this app is definitely a good fit for you if you have common cut and dry illnesses and symptoms. But if a doctor or your own research hasn't been able to diagnose your illness properly, I'm sorry to say that this app won't do it for you. I've gotten more accurate results from WebMD.
As an ER physician I wanted to try this app to see how it would work for a patient with abdominal pain. It asked a whole bunch of questions and was able to narrow it down each time to the diagnosis I was aiming for. I did it twice and it also gave me a probable % chance it was this diagnosis and that I should seek medical evaluation. I know people google their symptoms all the time but this is a very intuitive app that provides a good working differential diagnosis for a patient. Of course nothing is guaranteed but it worked well for me on my attempts.
THIS APP IS NOT SAFE, NOT ACCURATE, AND IF YOU BELIVE IT COULD GET YOU KILLED. I downloaded this app to see if it was legit and put in the symptoms that a family member had before going to the E.R. for severe stomach pain. She had acute pancreatitis and gastroenteritis, we both put in the same thing to the app on different devices and got completely different answers the one she got was NOT EVEN CLOSE WHATSOEVER and it asked her completely different questions for half the test, if we had used this before she went to the E.R. we would have been in SERIOUS trouble. The answer I got was similar to what she had but it still wasn't accurate and said to only go to the doctor when she needed to go to the ER! Also if you carefully look at the good reviews there fake, they all have the same tone like they were scripted or written by the same person. ‼️⚠️‼️⚠️‼️⚠️‼️DO NOT USE THIS APP ITS NOT ACCURATE OR SAFE‼️⚠️‼️⚠️‼️⚠️‼️
Saves lots of time and helps me find out my symptoms faster than any app or online search, I highly recommend this app to anyone, something to keep on your phone if you ever feel like something is wrong with your body or just under the weather and don’t know what’s wrong with you. :)
