User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I had to use a walkthrough, I admit, but I still had fun. The puzzles weren’t all challenging, just a few that left me completely stumped. This is the second game by this developer and I really like the style and graphics and not having to tap all over the darn place to figure out what the heck I could be missing. Overall it was a cool game and I’d definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a WELL DESIGNED escape game. It’s not one of those cheesy, crappy ones that the App Store is full of. This developer and Hozumi are the best. 5 stars!!!
First, to the developer(s), thank you *so much* for not bombarding the player with ads that totally ruin a game. Second, to those just starting the game, remember the cardinal rules of escape games: try using everything on everything and if the game permits it, try to combine everything with everything else. This will save lots of headaches! This game took a fair amount of thinking outside the box. Order in actions and animations also played a role.
I’ve played hundreds of these escape games so I feel I’m somewhat of an authentic critic. This game is fun and challenging but several of the puzzles only make sense to the developer because there is NO rhyme or reason to finding and solving them! I had to use several cheats and still the puzzles made absolutely no sense to me or others in my group. There are no hints available unless you purchase some. If I had to figure this game out on my own, I would have deleted it halfway through the play.
This was an awesome game, it was so much fun, and just enough challenge. This would be the best game in the world, no the universe if only it had different level with different rooms and puzzles inside the Sphinx. Like when you get to the exit there is an option to “keep escaping” (or something like that), and an option to “You find a secret passageway that gets you completely out of the Sphinx” (or something like that). Again this game was SOOOOO MUUCCHH FUUUUUUUUUNNN!!!!
So fun, and the puzzles will make you think. I like this one the best of the three out there because the clues made more sense for me...well, except for the last puzzle. I don't think I could have done this without the help of a walkthrough a couple times there, but I still love the challenge.
