SoaringSafe Parental Control

I’ve tried several different apps but always had issues with allowing what I want to allow and blocking what I want blocked. I really like how I can individualize for my daughter’s responsibility level, and change it up as her choices require. I would have given a 5 star rating except the only thing that’s missing is a real time GPS location service. Many other apps have that but not the flexibility that SoaringSafe offers. I use an iPhone but my daughter has a Samsung galaxy. So the build in “find my phone” won’t work. Please add a GPS feature to the paid subscription and then it really would be the BEST parent app out there!

I LOVE THIS APP! There are so many great things about this one. I have tried other ones and have been disappointed. First of all, I love how much specific control I have over my 16 year olds phone. I have all of the controls on my phone and he has no idea what I’ve blocked him from. I love that I can block him from certain websites that he was using despite our consent,..like Snapchat, Instagram, etc. This is SO easy to use. I was relieved because I’m not very “techy”. But I can control exactly when he uses his phone. I can shut off his Internet at a certain time at night and a certain time in the morning it comes back on. I can add other times like times he should be doing his homework. I can keep adding devices to my sons account. I can also add my other children. How cool that you get personalized emails from Rustin, who developed this and he emails you back very quickly if you have any questions. Try it for the free trial. Then you can upgrade to a subscription for five dollars a month or like $43 a year. Totally worth it! Really puts the power back in parents hands no matter what age the child is. There is a huge list of apps and you choose what to block them from and what to allow. Thanks Rustin!

The app is easy-to-use and it was super quick to install and set up my account. It makes setting limits and/or restricting certain apps and websites to control your child’s device usage a breeze. SoaringSafe automatically blocks certain categories of sites and apps based on your child’s age, but you can easily customize these settings. I particularly love the free features that allow me to restrict device activity during homework time and to set a bedtime for my child!

Great app for helping parents regulate “screen time” for children and teenagers. App is also equipped with filters to block dangerous or questionable content, while allowing access to safe apps and websites. You can even set a custom filter for any website with a valid URL. I especially like the ability to restrict internet access during class time, homework hours, sleeping hours, plus set exceptions for an extended bedtime. Easy to install and use. Recommend to anyone with kids.

Firstly, the developer is very active in corresponding with questions and/or help. The app/VPN itself is extremely easy to set up (from my stand point, I’m very familiar with VPN’s) I would say it would be easy for someone without any tech expertise to set up. Anyhow, the app is extremely easy to use, and does EXACTLY what it claims to do. Changing individual child settings is a breeze, and IT WORKS... I have no problem recommending this subscription app to anyone...
